Right, but isn't it much more refreshing for someone to admit they're about the hustle, the grind, and the struggle to get themselves to where they want... than for someone to be doing that while pretending to be some kind of morally superior hero who is just so good that the barbaric old world must be stripped down and bequeathed to them? Whereupon being given more free shit, they immediately turn heel and start trying to bar anyone else from getting in on the action and abandon their previous MO. That clear, disingenuous hypocrisy is what gets to me.

Further, I feel like those folks never actually mellow out, mature, or get perspective; they essentially become wildly reactionary, or revert back into pandering come their 40s or 50s. A lack of ever having to work for anything essentially makes them amorphous blobs with no footing, no principle, no honesty, and no real development. I mean, look at the trajectory of AOC -- she's gonna be a real barn burner, really stuff it to that evil DNC, really usher in progress, and oh wait no she's not going to question a damn thing that Biden or the DNC is up to because she's got some cash now and wants to hold onto that free stuff.

I knew a few people genuinely surprised and disheartened when it became clear that someone so loud and proud as AOC was actually just full of shit. And let me tell you, that's a beautiful thing to soak in and enjoy.

It's not weird. It makes perfect sense. All of these people grew up with Harry Potter, and were brainwashed by it. Ten years later, they're adults and practicing witchcraft.

This was a carefully-laid message for the future: that Salami would reclaim what was taken by Bologna by force, with the old phone representing modern communication, and the Salami being an African-American stand-in.

Despite my moniker I am not a druid, I just worship coffee. But in my hobbies and social circles I know several pagans, mainly older ones. I also find mythology interesting so I know a fair amount of what they follow. I like them. At the risk of powerleveling my autism when it comes to paganism, It is weird how they attach themselves to Wicca or become half-assed LaVeyan Satanists without the LaVey part because he was "problematic" but largely ignore other pagan paths like Thelema, Asatru, or Hermeticism. Though I've heard that Asatru recently had an influx of these social jus types trying to justify leftist mental gymnastics in a religion that is all about ancestral ties, folk, and kin and there's been a lot of infighting with the folkish Asatru sect over that as well, which even led to resources like the Asatru Folk Assembly getting wiped from the Internet for a short time because "racism."
