Apologies if this is late. I got an email from Target going into detail about what they're going to be doing for the black community, even though the black community has been setting their stores on fire and looting during a pandemic.

I'll put everything under a spoiler, but this part stuck out:

We’re providing 10,000 hours of pro‑bono consulting services for Black- and people of color‑owned small businesses, helping with rebuilding efforts.

I have never seen a single cent donated to social justice charities actually go to causes that deserve attention and help. What a gigantic waste of money and resources, and all during a pandemic.

For the same reason that trying to be the cool teacher doesn't work. You need to maintain an air of dignity and authority. That doesn't mean cracking heads at the first opportunity, but it also doesn't mean doing a fucking dance routine like a bunch of schoolgirls.

All these witches and stuff coming out is making me more nervous than almost anything from these riots, because you really don't see them coming out and declaring war on each other after every dead nigger. At least since 2016 there hasn't been a public showing like this, and I can't help but think that they're fighting over the deaths that have happened, especially Floyd's.
