A thought occurred to me regarding the White Left and their current insistence that lives are more valuable than property (whilst gleefully demolishing others' livelihoods), and I'll gladly take my clocks if this has been said upthread, considering this thread moves like Florida Man chasing a methgator: anyone who's been keeping a weather eye on the so-called culture war really isn't, or shouldn't be, surprised at these animals thinking that shitting where they eat is a good idea, at least in some capacity.

Hear me out: some of our more wordy sperglords (@Jaimas and @Judge Holden in particular come to mind) have documented the current progressive zeitgeist in media being all but exclusively about destruction: specifically, destroying the "old, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc., etc., etc., ad nauseam" to make space for their Superior Future Gay Space Communism™, filled with unicorn dildos, rainbows of drugs and sunshine of the spotless mind. Nevermind that they've tanked the value of brands that have lasted for decades and made efforts at turning entertainment into a worthless slurry of utterly forgettable and replaceable shlock, they were all being supported by those horrible ffffffucking white males and our way will be PURE and GOODER and BETTER and oh god why is it collapsing on us get over here and help us out you fucking pale ingrates.

As has been pointed out at length, these chucklefucks believe that quality springs up ex nihilo, rather than from a pedigree of hard work and dedication. Some pay lip service to the idea, and a few kiss the edges while sprinting off like a Special Olympics medalist, but it's still an alien, filthy concept perpetrated by The Great Satan that is White Man. This is just the first time we've seen it writ large in the real world, rather than the more easily-ignorable slapfights around videya, comics, movies, film, and the like.

The fallout will be interesting.

I just want to cultural zeitgeist to start swinging to the right already. I am just sick of Twitter armchair radicals who freely indulge in their obvious mental illnesses who have never left the silicon valley being the one who decide what is socially acceptable.

God, remember when the biggest threat to society was teenagers playing video games that had guns in it? I love video games and I would gladly go back to time, if it meant that I wouldn't have to worry about being doxxed and exiled from any sort of gainful employment just because I don't think 7 year old should take hormone pills.

I just hope that something finally snaps soon and social media starts to leave behind the far left rhetoric.

I checked cronometer like I do every day to keep tabs on the Corona cases. It was listed as around 28,000ish cases earlier but it was noted that Michigan was now including more 'probable cases' to the score, and adjusting it to reflect past days counts. So the total for today is around 25k now. That's still a small uptick in cases that are usually around 19-21k daily.

Only time will tell in the coming days or weeks how these protests impact us. I've had a surgery (nothing major but still) postponed for months now and it's finally rescheduled. If it gets fucked with again, I swear...

Trump already has donations set up to get rid of AntiFa if you’re interested. From what I can tell, many people seem to be on board with it.

THERE'S where the thinking is coming from. See, it doesn't matter if they're part of the mob that breaks windows, burns down buildings, and kills people. See, that sin the burden of ONLY the people who DIRECTLY did the action. Not you. Your hands, morals, ethics are still clean and pure.

You didn't do anything, they did, and ethically, you can't be held responsible for what they do.

Why do these people take their kids to protests? Let kids be kids. Even with actual peaceful protests it just feels like using them as props. Also when I was a kid I would be bored to death just walking around holding signs. It would probably have made me hate whatever was going on. At worst, these kids can actually get (and have been) hurt.

I have never donated to any politician or political movement in my life. These looters might just piss me off enough to donate now. BLM should be honorary sponsors of FOX and GOP fundraisers.
