Yeah, I was taken aback by a TELEVISED fucking funeral, complete with golden casket and the whole layout, with professional shit-stirrers Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson present, for this man. A man who shoved a handgun into a pregnant woman's stomach and ransacked her house with four other men. Now maybe he actually got his shit together after his bid in prison, I doubt it though from the toxicology report. Chances are once his drug habits had reignited [which they obviously had] he would've run out of whatever money he had and been right back to turning over liquor stores and burglarizing houses. Obviously he didn't need to die that day, but I'm thinking it really wasn't any great loss. From the sound of it, he wasn't a good guy, and certainly not the martyr figure that they've made him into.
Same thing with Michael Brown. They called him a gentle giant too. Then we could see him pushing around some older shopkeep and stealing a box of shitty cigars. Same thing with Trayvon Martin. The only pictures they used of him on the news made him look like a blackface cherub, they didn't use any of the photos of him throwing up gang signs because of course they wouldn't.
Of all the people to have a televised funeral with guest speakers, I can think of plenty of other people who actually deserved that but never got it.
