From the sound of it, he wasn't a good guy, and certainly not the martyr figure that they've made him into.

Same thing with Michael Brown. They called him a gentle giant too. Then we could see him pushing around some older shopkeep and stealing a box of shitty cigars. Same thing with Trayvon Martin. The only pictures they used of him on the news made him look like a blackface cherub, they didn't use any of the photos of him throwing up gang signs because of course they wouldn't.

Of all the people to have a televised funeral with guest speakers, I can think of plenty of other people who actually deserved that but never got it.

Don't fall into the trap of bashing Floyd. He did bad things, but that was over a decade ago. Have more nuance than the liberals, man. And regardless the cops really had no reason to detain him in the manner they did other than to feel like powerhouses because they've been bored of writing tickets all day.

I know we had a RoE change when I was in country. I was usually the basic see danger yell "Contact [DIRECTION]!" If you were convoying and take direct fire, take a defensive posture and kill everyone dumb enough to attack us. A while later for convoying it became "Just run and shoot if you can." Okay, what if we're pretty sure we're being herded into a trap, "Run, but don't run too fast." Even with that, whoever was in charge would just give the order to light shit up. It doesn't help that you have the Army who has one RoE, the Marines with another, and then there's Blackwater driving around places blasting death metal literally looking for people to shoot at them. "Hearts and minds gents."

At this rate, this BLM feels like some religious awakening shit like we have had before. There is always is a religious awakening as it sound so similar to the way a religion is conducted. Just say the slogan "black lives matter" despite Black America still in the shit house after all this and you can about the rest of the day as it was a meaningless prayer. And the white progressives are clearly the ringleaders since they do have a tendency of hijacking Black America's causes. And they voting for Biden has to be the biggest joke of all time.

Fair point, but the last thing Floyd did was a crime and resisted arrest. The cop who took him down was no prize, but he still died a criminal who had apparently learned nothing from those past mistakes

David Dorn's final act was something noble and honorable, based on a laudable past history as a law enforcement official.

One of those men deserved a full blown funeral where mass amounts of people should have been shedding tears, and he didn't get it.
