It requires violence from the state to get started, IMO in order to confirm this as 'Trump's Tiananmen/Kent State' and to get the right images out for dissemination on Monday.

If the weekend protests go off without any violence, I think the compromised officers will just have to turn to Anderson Cooper's Town Hall instead to share their grievences.

The problem therein is that the only way to solve the problem of black race riots is to hit them fast and hard. Cut off funding by arresting ringleaders and kettle the rioters in every city in one weekend, before they can go to ground. If they're allowed to have "room to destroy" as the saying goes, Trump will look weak and large parts of the nation will be even more devastated than just from lockdowns.

I mean in this case not "legacy" so much as "yet another scheme to launder money and give kickbacks" but. I would imagine he has other things to focus on at the moment, like Barr breathing down his neck.
