It makes those incumbents and ANTIFA look like lunatics that should be voted out or beanbag'ed or tear gassed into jail. That's one level of lunacy and I'm not going to lie I am sick of the slow response even if it's to avoid a Kent or blowback.

This thread has repeatedly gone into (((them)))posting unironically and has recently turned into panic and doom. That's another level of lunacy, a far lower level, but still lunacy.

The lunacy of one doesn't negate the other's existence; it'd be like assuming sun spots are cold despite still being thousands of degrees F. Anyone on this site should know this after being on here for a few months given there is an entire load of people who get threads despite shitting on far stupider and more insane people.

Nah, that only legitimizes their grievences by 'proving' that the state is out to get them. It turns their leaders and rioters into martyrs, and galvanizes the movement.

Allow them to riot and destroy the cities- and get the blue governors and mayors to hold the bag. As long as crucial and expensive infrastructure and buildings remain untouched, everything else is economic chump change and conservative election bait.

Call me optimistic, but my gut feeling is that neither blacks nor other Americans have the attention span to make the huge protests planned last in their current strength into the following weeks. This was an original, exhilarating escape from quarantine life, but by next week, it'll be 'already experienced' and old news. The normies will start to stay home and attention will start to drift- you can only chant BLM so many times before it turns into a meaningless phrase, IMO. What happens next week is that BLM will seek to consolidate their political gains- pushing for radical legislation, while smaller protests go on.

Regardless, this weekend is the Democrats' last good chance of inducing a Kent State/Tiananmen for Trump either by false flag or by attacking the White House. Let's see how it goes- hopefully it'll be peaceful.

I know a lot of hardcore conservatives/republicans/libertarians/et cetera. They were all in agreement that the police fucked up and that this was going to have to be resolved in the courts. That it would be a slam dunk case against the officers and justice would be served.

Of all the issues for people to throw a shitfit over and start burning down commerce and industry, they picked this one. The one everyone finally agreed upon. It makes no fucking sense at all and now all of the goodwill that the left had with the right over this issue has evaporated because now the people on the right think the people on the left were faking their outrage (and what else were they faking outrage over?) and only trying to leverage this guy's unjust death to remove President Trump.

Way to fucking go, Democrats.

I mean at least for now they've got people distracted from the ruling that Hillary will have to testify along with the Flynn case and god knows what else.

I feel bad for the judge with Hillary. Here's hoping he dosent decide to tie himself up inside a weighted duffel bag and throw himself off a boat

Do we have any footage? I thought a lot of people showed up in Maine to protest against him but I didn't see any photos or video one way or the other because the media outlets I checked refused to show any wide shots.

Yup, no wide shots, and you can see why: the crowd of supporters was impressive. The BLM protesters do look anemic, they couldn't manage even 20 people, where Trump supporters were several hundred at least.

I love how Trump called Gov Mills a dictator when he was meeting with the fishermen. LOL. She is. According to my BIL, she didn't even meet with Trump when he visited Maine (my BIL lives up there).

She is a dictator. She keeps changing Maine's open date by county. I heard on the radio about one restaurant owner who was told they could open on June 16th. So he re-hired his staff and ordered all kinds of supplies and food for the grand re-opening. Now he's being told the date of re-opening for his county is on hold because 2 more people died from Covid.

People and business owners are livid with her. I've heard rumors that LePage may run again. He might have a chance to win if she keeps up this bad behavior and pissing off the citizens. Then again, with Maine you never know. So many immigrants from blue states have moved there, I could be wrong. Granted it was always blue but certain areas have always been red the further north you go.

They have such a binary view of things. They treat life like it’s some sort of movie where there are clear “good guys” and “bad guys”. To these people, any Trump supporter is like a Captain Planet villain and to them it’s so obvious why anyone supporting Trump is bad. If they actually talked to real life Trump supporters, they’d realize that people support him for various reasons but still criticize him as well.
