You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

When shoeless and unsocked there is a perceptible pressure of toes against toes that drives me mad. The feeling of them touching theIr neighbors is maddeningly irritating at times.

I don't have that problem. It sounds like your toes are rather squeezed together. Maybe you need a shoe with a wider toebox.

Perfectly fine when shod. I'm going to blame the people who kept shoes on my feet growing up for spending too little and too little time having them fitted.

People who can't put their phones down for even one minute. I've seen some hold on to it as if it's their baby.

Your boss asking you if you can stay late 30 minutes or less before you go home. It seems unprofessional to me. Ask at least an hour before your end of shift.

Friends who turn their back on you for the sake of their popularity.

yes! This pisses me off royally as well, and it is completely unprofessional and rude. I've worked for bosses in the past, who would catch me right at the end of my shift as I'm putting my coat on and getting ready to leave and THEN ask if I can stay late...and the autists have the audacity to act pissy when I would annoyingly tell them no I can't, perhaps I may have had I been asked at a proper time.

the typical skin-deep narcissism of "blm" youtube posts showing up on my feed. You know, how every one is a "Look at ME! Pay attention to ME!" and I go on Youtube to ESCAPE all the political shit going on outside, but can't even have a little escapism without shit being poured down your throat by your corporate overlords.
i'll add to this, when its not just a virtue signal, but a post saying if you DON'T post about BLM you're the PROBLEM and white silence is white guilt!!!
even people who don't live in fuckin america are starting with this rhetoric, you live in fucking Australia advocate for the aboriginals

You know Paris, France? In English, they pronounce it “Paris,” but everyone else pronounces it without the “s” sound, like the French do. But with Venezia, everyone it the English way, “Venice.” Like The Merchant of Venice and Death in Venice . . . Why though?! Why isn’t the title Death in Venezia?! Are you friggin’ mocking me?! It takes place in Italy so use the Italian word, damn it! That shit pisses me off! Bunch of dumbasses!

And if you do, shut up and stay in your own lane, whitey!

when shitheads get drunk outside or in public places and smash bottles everywhere, making the place look like junkietown. i don’t get the point. in fairness, most of the people who do are dumbass teenagers going into their underage drinking phase, but there are a bunch of adults who do it too.

It sucks when people don't clean up after their dogs.

The area where I live has a lot of dogs, and a lot of people who don't clean up after them. Combined with the stagnant windless fiery heat we've been having lately, and the stench of "cooked dog doo" seems to linger in the air everywhere. Not to mention the risk of illness that can be spread by flies. It's disgusting.

And this is despite all the poop cleaning stations and warnings.

What chaps my ass is when people watch their dog take a shit and then just ignore it. (Especially at dog parks).

The inverse of that is when your dog poops and within 0.001 seconds someone is screeching at you "are you going to pick that up????!!!!??!!!".

This reeks of hating on a guy for being generous and helping people but this guy basically wanting people to grovel for help really annoys me.

People that advocate for destroying building, monuments and statues because they’re “problematic”. It makes me sad to see these works of art get destroyed in the name of “justice”. We can learn so much from these things and by destroying them, there’s less to learn from. I’m a history sperg and I’ve been pissed off at seeing so many things get destroyed. It’s bad when ISIS does it, and it’s bad when activists do it. Destroying statues won’t change the past, but learning from the past can change the future (which is why the past needs to be preserved).

Moved into a new place a month ago. Massive upgrade compared to the old place, same price as well because of Coronavirus crapping out the rental market where I am. Only negative...there is one fucking neighbour who keeps one of those shitty little yappy dogs and it always, ALWAYS needs to take a piss in the ONLY lift going down to the entrance of the building. Lazy fuck never bothers cleaning it up, so half the time I go up or down, half the lift is covered with piss. Fucking great when trying to carry heavy items in to improve the new place.

Bumped into her and her dog a few days ago, she ducked going in the lift with me, saying she needed to "clean up her dog" or something like that. Maybe my bitching about her stupid dog and her fat lazy cunt is loud enough from my apartment for her to hear and think twice before letting the little bastard take a piss in the lift.

Had this argument with someone I consider a good friend recently. All those Confederate statues and flags are perfectly OK being destroyed because he doesn't like anything the Confederacy stands for, and they and the US have no historical value compared to the history of rest of the world. I'm not even American, and I can see the value of those statues and flags for such a comparatively young country. Between that, his whole "Corporate America supports BLM so it's succeeded and vindicated Kaepernick", and his unending blowjob of China, he's pretty much alienated everyone in our group chat. Literally created a separate one without him because everything needs to be a serious argument and nothing can be fun. Cracking jokes about BLM and CHAZ, not allowed, must be a serious debate every single day. Just left him and the autists to debate back and forth.

That's what SJWs want. History to be only "woke". Thinking to be only "woke". After all, "woke" is "The Right Side Of History®"...

It's just like 1984 where "The Party" rewrites history and eliminates "wrongthink" through propaganda and "newspeak".
