Or he's got just as much dirt he needs covered as the rest of 'em?
What dirt is there? It could come out tomorrow that he sat next to Bill Clinton on the Lolita Express and it wouldn't affect the livelihood of the guy who's set for life because of a job he last held twelve years ago.

Even if someone did reveal some life-ruining scandalous secret about Bush, it's not like the press would care enough to actually report on it.

We found out Barack Obama was the protege of notorious terrorist bomb-maker Bill Ayers and nobody cared even though mainstream press made a token effort to talk about (read: dismiss) it. They can do anything to anyone and the media will only react when it becomes so egregious that nobody can ignore it.

This mindset will win people over, obviously.

In one of his "autobiographies" Barack Obama talked about how he liked eating dog meat. Nobody cared.

Yes. Because they forget things the moment they become inconvenient.

The power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them… To tell deliberate lies while genuinely believing in them, to forget any fact that has become inconvenient, and then, when it becomes necessary again, to draw it back from oblivion for just as long as it is needed, to deny the existence of objective reality and all the while to take account of the reality which one denies—all this is indispensably necessary. Even in using the word doublethink it is necessary to exercise doublethink. For by using the word one admits that one is tampering with reality; by a fresh act of doublethink one erases this knowledge; and so on indefinitely, with the lie always one leap ahead of the truth.

"Wrong side of history" really is a religious phrase for them at this point, idn'it?
It's the same as the constant evocation of science as a cudgel to beat down anyone they disagree with despite having little knowledge of the science being used. "The science is settled" is always said despite every field of study constantly changing and discovering new information. "Wrong side of history" assumes that world events will ever only go one way based on relatively recent social trends. It's about the only way these people are able to glean any self worth.

It's Auguste Comte's "Religion of Humanity." A secular church designed to remove God from society, with the human being becoming the central object of veneration. Leftist consumerism and the racialism and narcissism of BLM and Pride are the culmination of a religious framework where the self is the supreme being in the cosmos, and the satiation of the urges of the self is the utmost goal.

Aint that complicated. They just treat beliefs and viewpoints and ideologies as stickers, to be applied and peeled off according to the fashion of the day. Your average hood jogger has more sincere loyalty to his latest pair of overpiced Nike shoes than the #woke speds do to the contradictory strains of performative extremism they vomit whenever they think they can get asspats and attention

I'm pretty sure they have a legit fear Biden is gonna shit the bed so hard he breaks the floorboards and falls into the basement, this is a sad attempt at trying to scare Trump into not seeking reelection so they don't have to worry the half-senile, mostly dead man challenging him will have to face a serious threat.

I think that's something most of us missed in 2016. If Trump wasn't a threat then why did they go after him so hard? I think they knew something. It's the same thing here. Trump obviously has a very good chance of being re-elected.

How is this big news? Everyone knows the neocons hate Trump. It was the best endorsement they could have possibly given him.
Not only that. Neocons may hate Trump, but Trump's voting base hates Neocons even harder. And again, much like Dubya... who the hell cares about Colin Powell 12 years after Bush's administration?

I wonder if the DNC is just trying to scrape the bottom of the barrel for all black people they can find to try to convince a demographic that already didn't vote for Trump to... not vote for Trump.

Does anyone know where Condolezza Rice is these days? Expect an announcement from her shortly, I guess.

This would be the official nod that parties don't matter. Left right nada.
It's all the theatre of choice, illusion and pretence.

It's all been theatre until Trump. He did things and said things people didn't before. He wasn't supposed to get elected. It was supposed to be another graceful repub loss and the illusion of hope and change with her turn.
It would have silence the masses like King Nigger did. But behind the illusion everything went on as usual. Same with Hillary. Enrichment for the industrial military complex, wars waged to keep people busy.

Trump fucked that up. He pulled out troops. He didn't start a Nork or Syrian war. He certainly wasn't supposed to come down hard on China.

The single most powerful aspect of all this is this fact. He wasn't supposed to win nor was he supposed to upset the status quo. Presidents arent singular entities. They're a cavalcade of establishment regardless of the side. Of course Bush supports this, he IS this.

Remember on 9/11. The look on his face as he found out about the towers? The complete lack of surprise? I am Bush's complete lack of surprise.
