Because if you do this she will instead start badmouthing you to all family members who will listen and just create more drama. Nobody backing BLM is thinking critically, its all emotion, and as a reminder, BLM has welcomed calls of violence against whites. Why would someone willingly allow a family member that supports this message to be in their lives?

Listen, I've had family members make huge deals about stupid BS. Not politically motivated, but about as dumb as ORANGE MAN BAD or BLM. Even if, somehow, they agree to not spew their BS about the subject to you, they will still insert it into conversations, strain to move the conversation in said direction, and start drama around you at every opportunity. The type of person who gets wrapped in drama and white guilt will never, ever stop. And frankly, my life is busy and short enough I dont have time for that bullshit. They can spew it to their echo chamber, but I will have nothing to do with them.

Boyega is using this an excuse. He broke the CARDINAL RULE of Hollywood:
NEVER trash the studio when the film you did turns out to be complete shit, especially if that studio is Disney.

Every other studio saw him do that. He's fucked. His career was over long before the BLM protests, and now he's using the race angle to try and weasel his way back onto the call sheet.

I don't see how writing a publicly facing rebuttal and submitting it formally to a GitHub account in dissent of a proposed project with no attempt to hide my intentions counts as an attempt at harassment, but whatever.

Corey just found his latest attempt to shit up the FOSS community while glomming onto the latest social media cause celebre to do it, just like the remora he's always been.

Then again, these riots have attracted a ton of those.

doubt it. black ppl are not blind to the fact that most crimes against black ppl are committed by other black ppl, they just don't want to be CQC'd to death by Officer Dale for stealing a box of yugioh cards

Minneapolis City Council put together a statement about abolishing the Police Force and admit that despite plan being to end the MPD in "weeks and months" that they "Don't have all the answers on what a police-free future looks like" -

So...your ending the Police force without a plan, and the next several months Minneapolis will have a demoralised Police force that likely will do the barest minimums to get through to the end of their employments, with an unplanned replacement. Sounds great for the locals!

Seriously though, cities are fucked. This will be HUTE FLITE 2.0. Any vaguely conservative members of a city society are going to GTFO if they have the means. I'd bet on a lot of small businesses either not reopening or relocating outside of the major cities.
