Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

Do you have more details on this? 38 weeks is basically full term, so unless I'm missing something (which is totally possible) that would be illegal everywhere in the US.
iirc Colorado has no legal limits on when during pregnancy a woman can get an abortion. In practice I don’t think any doctors in the state would do one at 38 weeks, but in the case of genetic disorders and the like (basically all the kids in this thread lol) you can get one up to 34 weeks which is pretty far along. They don’t even call it an abortion at that point.

We are going slightly off topic, but since it came up, yeah, women were locked up and incarcerated until they submitted to an abortion, and then sterilized in some cases. If you're interested in what happened to newborn girls in China during the one-child policy who were not aborted, Check out this documentary called 'The Dying Rooms', and take a brave-face.
TL;DW: They literally put the baby girls into a room and lock the door and wait for them to die. They get the other disabled kids living at the home to check in every couple days to see whether the corpses are cold.

I can’t parse all the stupidity and willful ignorance on the part of her parents and her husband. They “couldn’t” delay the marriage so their daughter could complete her education?? The husband just says it’s “Allah’s will” if their kids have short, painful lives, and doesn’t care for IVF and embryo screening? I really wish we had good old-fashioned eugenics with forced sterilization for people like this.

The wife might feel like she’s fully committed to her husband now, but let’s be honest, she was forced to marry (forced marriage is a huge problem in Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities in the U.K). She was 17 and didn’t want to marry some random cousin from back home, clearly. Shipped off to Pakistan for the wedding and returned home knocked up, leaving the husband behind waiting for his visa.

I think I’ve said this before, but parents insist on cousin marriage to keep family money (dowries etc) within the family. And they want someone not just of Pakistani descent, but actually living in the home village, to keep the daughters “traditional” and getting too Westernised. That’s probably the same reason they pulled her out of education. Don’t want them getting lofty ideas above their station/too much freedom.

That's very interesting, I never knew that before. I've never really heard much about abortion in the middle east before, but it's kinda messed up that they're not as universally against it as fundies, considering that even fundies don't practice genital mutilation (but probably only because they didn't think of it first).

Does Pakistan have such high rates due to high levels of inbreeding? That they have a level of how fucked a baby/child can be even when deformities/health problems/mega tards just run in the family? Or is there another factor at work?
Genetic issues aside they have extreme poverty and that’s the real reason for the high levels of abortion. They aren’t aborting due to potato babies, they are aborting due to sex selection and poverty. Unlike in the west they don’t get help feeding, clothing and sheltering their kids with state aid so if they have too many children everyone suffers.

Also, sons can work in the rural regions, it’s like breeding workers for the family farm. The weird dowery demands in some parts of the world can make daughters very expensive propositions, whereas a son might bring a dowry into a poor household. From short term economic perspective sons are more cost effective and profitable.

Actually, the reason is far more horrifying. In some parts of the world, in particular China and some heavily Islamic areas, girls are, to put it mildly, unwanted.

I found out a while back that in South Korea, it is illegal to tell parents the sex of a baby before it's born, for precisely this reason. The woman who told me about it said that she had a relative (either cousin or niece) whose husband was stationed there in the military, and even on US military bases, they couldn't do that. They can't even do that when the ultrasound picture is obvious to laypeople.
It’s all coming back to bite them in the ass too. It also greatly benefits the girls that were born.

The irony is they want sons to continue the paternal family line. Unfortunately since sex selection abortion limited an entire generation of females their precious adult sons can’t find spouses. Only the more successful adult men, with the best potential, can find spouses. Women can be very choosy. The lower or poor families are now stuck with shiftless lifelong bachelor sons who the family line dies with. (Keep in mind it’s always been more of an issue with poorer, less educated families.)

It’s gotten so desperate in rural South Korea that there is an entire industry for training and buying brides from Vietnam, Cambodia (apparently Uzbekistan is the most expensive). The SK government even gives subsidies to the men to help them obtain one. Ironically their selective abortions now mean they wont have ethnically Korean children anymore, its forcing integrated breeding with SE Asian countries. It’s why SK firmly banned sex selection ultrasounds.

It’s amazing how short sighted and stupid sex-selection abortions are but twenty years on at least its helped increase the standing and options for women in those countries.

Yikes. Looks like miss “I rehomed my adopted son” is under investigation now bc they can’t find the kid

I thought the kid was in foster care (and thought the parents should be financially liable for him since it was an international adoption), but it sounds like they just foisted him off on someone they found on one of the shady rehoming FB groups. You would think the mom would be savvy enough by now to know she can’t get away with that, with her level of internet fame.

I read some article a year or two back about people who decide to pass on adopted kids to other families and they basically get lost to all intents and purposes. Some of them totally disappear off anyone's radar. The adoption business (and it is a business) is an odd one, and even plenty of fostering is done purely for financial benefit. Some people literally warehouse shitloads of sped kids as fosters and they have far worse lives than if they'd lived in an institution.

it's trafficking supply.

no joke.

Yeah I was suspicious of her claims that he was with a carefully selected, loving family. Poor kid is probably either being warehoused in an institution or neglected/abused in a foster home. Either way I doubt he's getting the love he deserves :(

Is the woman who adopted him only to abandon him a fundie? Because it seems like something a fundie would do.

Two or three generations of first cousin marriage has a lot to do with it, for sure. Here in tbe UK, kids of Pakistani heritage are way, way over-represented in the stats for genetic diseases. But of course we have free healthcare so there’s no financial or familial pressure to abort sick foetuses or even test them for abnormalities.

A friend worked at a tard baby relief home where parents could leave their special needs child to get a weekend off or so. That was the idea but it was more of an orphanage where parents dumped their potato full-time and visited once a week. My friend was very uncomfortable when saying that there wasn't a single native child there, in any ward. One family even had three kids in the place and were trying for a fourth one - what do they care, they still get paid special benefits for their special children. His first week on the job he tended to a kid that then died on his shift, just wasn't fit for life.

Then there was the extreme racism, arabs do not like africans even if they are muslims and parents would try to get black staff fired. They were very open with why they wanted them gone, they are sub-human, inferior to the people who repeatedly spawn Escher babies.

I really hope younger generations will stray away from cousin marriage shit, I remember hearing younger people have more negative opinions about it.
I saw a documentary about this some time ago I believe it was (this one: https://youtu.be/NkxuKe2wOMs)
And from what I can tell from it rhat the younger generations, expecially in the European Muslim communities, definitely have a more negative view on it.
And when I was in school all the Muslim kids I knew also thought it was pretty nasty, but those are the "westernized" Muslims. So idk

Came across this in my twitter feed for reasons unknown to me. Not sure what's worse, the picture or the platitudes under it.
