Seems to zero in on Marsha P. Johnson, a drag queen who never self-identified as transgender. In fairness, "transgender" wasn't commonly used back then; "gender non-conforming" seems to cover it.

Besides these people have the memory of a goldfish. Despite four consecutive times directors born in Mexico earned Best Director and Emmanuel Lubezki (mexican) earned three Best Photography in a row and all of them recognize that their careers would have died if they stayed in Mexico. That they handicapped Best Picture in 2016 so we got Black Panther and Bohemian Rhapsody nominated despite the former being standard that didn't mean anything for anyone that knows jackshit about african american cinema and the former being Jem and The Holograms with music of Queen. Despite all their modern retellings and recasts all failling to attract anyone. I don't like to generalize but the entertainment industry in America is so full of wankers that overestimate how important they really are.
