I have no essential problem with drone strikes, no matter who is ordering them. Realize I work for the military-industrial complex. I like my industry. I like anything good for my industry. I also like law enforcement and incarcerating criminals.

The biggest reason for me to not vote for a theoretical third Obama term is troon shit. But I feel like we’re on the downhill side of that nonsense.

I think I actually represent the average late Gen X/early Millennial Democrat with a career and a mortgage. I liked the 90s. I would really just like the 90s back. Economy was good, people were more open-minded yet less deranged, and there was no social media, just places to go online to talk anonymously about shared interests. Otherkin of all sorts including furries and troons were just amusing subcultures to observe. Buffy didn’t suck yet. Etc.

This is why leadership and gatekeeping is important. Because it doesn't matter what type of organization or system you have, if you don't have a leader who knows what he's doing and a consistent prime requisite for joining, you end up with weirdos and pervs co-opting and fucking up your shit. BLM isn't communicating in any kind of legitamete, practical way, so we're left with bums with signs that will be used to symbolize the entire movement and philosophy behind it. This is why this shit isn't working. People were sympathetic and wanted to help, and now they are standing back watching a tantrum and slowly getting angry. It's not a simple anger either, the longer this goes the more pronounced the backlash will be. And just like the weirdos and pervs slithered into BLM, you can bet your ass grifters and true racists will find a way to gain something from it.

So my first thought on hearing that statement was. "Are Americans actually Retárded?" But then there was something about switching to some sort of Transformative Justice system... what does that actually even mean? Community outreach only and.. just hope criminals and gangs don't move in to take over your society?

I'm just confused and full of questions on what anyone actually means by defunding and abolishing the police.
