I still have a LONG way to go.

Yes, yes you do. And I no longer compare you to Russhole Greer, I compare you to Don Quixote. By now all your Sancho Panza analogs are starting to get very exasperated with you charging at windmills again and again with a broken giant bugdick and thinking it's a lance.

Don quixote was lovable and knew how to ride a horse and didn’t want to have sex with a giant insect wearing trousers.

Do not do my man dirty like that

Suppose I do succeed with all my goals some time in the future? What affect would that have on this thread or any of your opinions about me? Just wondering.

How optimistic to assume that would ever happen. Listen the only way you would see a crumb of success is to either take our ideas of making woggle bug over the top macho vigilante anti-hero and run with it or as ammo for internet reviewers to rip into it as a shitty child's film to be laughed at.

I'm not 100% on what all your goals are, but as for an effect on this thread, really nothing.

Even if you somehow get so insanely lucky to get some studio to buy... whatever, from you concerning this, that doesn't mean it's any good and that we are all wrong about you; that you are actually some crazy talented artist/writer and that Wogglebug isn't actually a creepy cockroach resident of the uncanny valley. Tons and tons and tons of bad movies get made all the time. Tons of bad books are written and published (even excluding self published shit on Amazon). Tons of bad music is made.
If you somehow end up making money from this, good for you, but it doesn't change or invalidate our criticisms of you or your work.

Examples:
Every one of the 100 Fast and Furious movies.
Every Resident Evil movie past the first one (and arguably the first one as well).
Ghostbusters 2016
Most rap

That’s like asking me what would be the effect of fitting a rhino, unharmed, through the eye of a sewing needle.

I can’t picture what would be the outcome because the outcome is impossible. People don’t like the Wogglebug. Not the original and not your version. He’s unpleasant to look at, he’s not appealing to children, he’s not marketable to a large audience. And that’s coming from me, a woman much older than you with decades’ experience of working in an industry marketing stories and animations to children.

Let me emphasize that: I work with publishing stories marketed to children and getting projects made into animation. If your terrible Wogglebug idea was good, I’d be offering to buy it from you now. But I’m not. Because it’s bad.

You just can’t see that because you’re autistic and unable to comprehend reality. Sorry your brain is busted and you didn’t get lucky and autistically fixate on something useful.

I'd be fucking amazed, and wonder just what kind of dirt you have on the publisher in question.

But that's beside the point. Listen to @AbraCadaver 's words of wisdom above. This is a person in the industry you want to crack into with your Wogglebug project, someone who works for a company that is successful in the industry, and who has purchasing authority for her company telling you point blank that they would pass on your project and more importantly WHY. Why you will not succeed in finding anyone who would buy what you are selling.

Life is too short to waste due to sheer stubbornness.

Well to be fair, she’s not the first person to say “I don’t care if you hate my idea, SOMEONE is going to buy it and I’ll be famous!”

That tirade is usually followed by watching them spend the next five years pitching to everyone and getting more and more disillusioned with each rejection. Pitch ideas are like babies; everyone is convinced theirs is the best.
