Do we know for sure if he studied any foreign language in school? Maybe he did not(or was not interested in it) and thinks foreigners understand English speech like some mentally challenged people.
Audition is a big part of learning foreign language and usually teachers try to introduce different accents to pupils. But he‘s an American with basic American accent - the easiest to understand. If he had, for example, Scottish accent, I would understand his concern.

Yeah, that's my bet too. Has been for a while.
He keeps crying harrassment but not taking responsibility for the actions that got him into this mess in the first place. His Patreon is dwindling, the game's still a glorified asset flip, the man's entire personality is dictated by his degeneracy, and rejects help, feedback, or critique about his game to a sickening degree unless it's on his terms. The project is doomed no matter how you slice it.

It was a useless flair anyway. Pretty much every post with it only ended up deleted.

I think we should applaud senpai's voice actor for managing to stay in character no matter how much he isn't getting paid! It must be so hard to continue to play a character completely devoid of charisma, emotion, and totally detached from reality. And to have based that voice on the creator of the game is a genius move as well. Since we all knew Alex was the voice director too, you know he taught him all the techniques to bring this Self Insert character to life.

He's made about 1% progress so far, and Osana isn't in the game after six years, even if he did make a blogpost that he would release her "sometime".

There are about 10 fangames and parody games that have done better than YandereDev, and there's nothing he can do about it.

As someone who actually thinks Alex won't be stupid enough to delay Osana missing out on the crowdfunding campaign to actually run away with the money with, there may be signs right here given how Alex hasn't streamed in 2 days. He also seemed to post quite less often on Reddit (even though as of this post, his last post was 2 hours ago)

Either Alex actually decided to buck up and go much more quiet to finish up the game demo, or he's preparing for an Internet disappearance.
