Edit: @docuseal got there first. I will say, FtMs who grow beards can pass more easily just because beard = man. So an effeminate man being gay and having the requisite facial hair growth the longer he was on the show is a lot less clockable than most troons.

I have seen them say something to that effect- they claim the evil transphobes focus on them because "structural transmisogyny"(:story:) makes people more wary of them compared to their actually female counterparts. They believe this is a result of transmisogyny, the intersection of transphobia and misogyny that only TIMs face, rather than accept the obvious fact that people are more wary of them because they're men trying to insert themselves into women's spaces.

A man-in-a-dress trying to enter women's facilities is rightly seen as a threat to the women there, but a woman-in-slacks trying to enter men's facilities doesn't have the potential to harm anyone except herself. Both flavors of troons absolutely seethe over this, it's absolutely hilarious.
