This sounds so weird in Canada, where our SJWs love to harp on the "legacy of residential schools" and tell horror stories about asshole cops in Saskatchewan picking up drunken Indians and dropping them in the middle of nowhere to freeze to death. It's probably because our Indians didn't do that ghost dance bullshit and therefore we still have enough of them for the grievance industry to have the correct economy of scale.

The common SJW take on it was that saying "all lives matter" as a response to BLM is just trying to change the subject, they have this stupid comic where people try to address specific issues and then Mr. Strawman pops in to say "All X matters!" . They seem to think there's an ongoing genocide of black people, but realize that coming out and saying "Stop Black Genocide" would make them look insane. Perhaps the more cynical ones know that assertion is bullshit, but think that if normies in trying to understand this shit think it through and come to implicitly believe that such a low-level genocide is indeed happening they'll support some form of "police reform" that turns cops into little commissars and more money diverted to the usual suspects.

Meanwhile the actual cops who do this shit are almost invariably in completely Democratic run cities like Minneapolis. The thing is... I could get behind the whole "call a number and get help for a crisis thing" but these people are just doing it the worse way possible, IMO the best way would be (even more so if there is an immediate threat such as an armed person making threats, or the like) police first (who at least have some training in trying to get things under control peacefully and force if there is no other choice), who see what is going on then they make the call for a mental health professional or who ever is most qualified for the issue at hand.
