U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

The amount of indoctrination in schools is crazy. I remember when I was in hs they'd keep shilling how great communism was, and got the class to sign their name on a list for whether they wanted to live in a communist or capitalist society. I was the only one in the class that chose capitalist. It was mind boggling to me at the time, aren't you American? Why wouldn't you be capitalist? Don't you know what a communist society is really like?

I was out by 2016, but I had a family member who was young at the time, teachers would put that "fuck trump" rap song on repeat, apparently. They got really buttmad when Trump won and instead of teaching spent class hours bitching about it.

This is their end goal. They want it to be a crime for whites to call the cops on blacks. Various cities have floated similar proposals the last couple of years. Imagine having to weight if a black man is about to rape you, and if he doesn't, being charged with a hate crime if you call 911.

It's hard to feel bad for Amy Cooper because she's a shitlib, but imagine you're a white woman in Central Park and a black man says, from his admission, "you’re not gonna like what I’m about to do." after he came out of the bushes and is videotaping you.
The perverse effect would be that it becomes significantly more lucrative to 'silence' black accusers before they can run to the law, especially if this cultural shift appears alongside the weakening of police.

Just like in China, where good Samaritans are penalized, and it's considered better in the long run to make sure that a hit-and-run victim doesn't survive.

I mistakenly came out as a Trump supporter in school back in 2016, immediately everyone including the teacher got worked up into a frenzy, they grabbed me placed me on a cross and started nailing my hands to it while another kid took out a spiked ball and chain and started slamming my genitals with it until it was a bloody pulp, eventually the police showed up but they just joined in.

“We hear and understand that many of our employees, especially our BiPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People Of Color) employees, are deeply impacted by these recent events and are hurting,” Wheeler said in a press release.
Why not outright say non-white?

Isn't treating non-whites as they are fragile, therefore, inferior, perpetuating white supremacy?

A fucking trillion dollaridoos wasted on nothing.
Imagine if these kinda sums would go into nuclear fusion research.
I need to get off the Internet.

we can't even get thorium reactors running that are much safer with less ecological impact than fucking windfarms and damns because NUCULAR BAD!!
(EDIT: for clarification that doesn't mean commercial, but even modern uranium reactors are much safer than the shit from the 60's that's still in use in some places, same thing).

I am mad at something that I saw elsewhere on the internet and have nowhere else to rant so buckle up.

I am old-ish. I lived through several decades of Very Special Episodes about how racism is bad. I've lived in small towns and in cities and interracted with many people with varied backgrounds. We are all equal, we all are trash. Get over it.

When I say, "Wtf that asshole is burning a building down!" I do not need a seven paragraph lecture about how racism is our real enemy. While they watch the strawman do a song and dance, businesses are being destroyed and the population is being terrorized. All shades of human are doing these things, but Gawd forbid I say "Hey, a crime is being committed, this is bullshit!" because then I'm just a monster and how awful I am!

I would rather be thought of as a bigot than be thought of as someone who helped destroy the good things in my country.

This is getting ridiculous. Who the fuck in Portland, Oregon needs to grieve for this guy? Even at face value this is the emptiest of sentiments. This is posting on Twitter how someone you never spoke to in your life was such a big influence to you.

... I'll take my top-hats. Fucking maddening is what it all is.

Not only stupid, it's evil. Iconoclasts are one of the few groups with the ability to genuinely get me irrationally angry, because they never stop at just the "bad" statues and they never stop at just the statues, either. Statuary is history, in solidified form, for good or ill.

Knocking down statues is a wedge to start re-writing history, but also as you say, a way to crush the spirit and identity of the people. It's no different to the taliban destroying those giant buddhas, or cromwell's destruction of the lady chapel at Ely Cathedral (or even the historically and culturally offensive "replacement" statue of Mary that Labour shoved in there during its recent renovations).

They're pushing to start knocking down statues in London right now.

I'm legitimately MOTI over this.
A reoccurring thing I’ve noticed in this decade is the obsession over deconstructing, subverting or outright destroying things from the past. Everything from pop culture to these statues is under scrutiny and the motto seems to be “Things from the past were bad. New is better.” No one seems to want to learn from the past.

Sounds like grounds for a lawsuit and a nice fat settlement, since technology hasn't advanced far enough to mind read yet.

But of course it's 4chins and no proofs.
Wait..what? For not posting something positive on BLM on social media? What exactly does my employer have to do with what I post in private? I man as Long as I don't post "Gas the jews!" who gives a shit. And what About those People who Keep way from social media (I asked that way earlier in this thread) Orwell's Nightmare is here and the gates are closing slowly. Who is with me in dropping an EMP on Silicon Valley?

"Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it."

Hell, by now you could shorten it down to no one wants to learn period. No one takes any part of their education seriously unless it can benefit them somehow. Things were bad when I was in school, I can't even begin to picture what classes are like now, history or literature especially. I fell for the ol' communism lesson in school until I did some outside reading and realized how terrifying it actually was. People don't read anymore unless it's YA fiction bullshit.
