either way, if i had my way the (military) police would establish a siege line around the entire area, cut off electricity and water, then starve them out until every last one of them surrenders. and then charge all of them with sedition or insurrection or treason or whatever fits this kind of situation.

This is tangentially-related to the actual riots, but it's another example of annoying corporate woke posturing.

So Bungie did a stream today where they revealed upcoming content for Destiny 2. It was supposed to start at 9AM PDT, even had a countdown timer and everything that ticked down to that time.

And then, instead of starting the stream right then, they pulled a Nickelodeon and did nothing for nine minutes because that's how long it took good boy dindu nuffin George to die, please donate to domestic terrorists and other people who hate you. I know they already put out a virtue signaling tweet about a week ago, but I had hoped that was the end of it. Apparently not.

The funny part is that Luke Smith, one of the higher-ups, did a live Q&A afterwards, and one of the things he mentioned was that he was glad they didn't do it live (the whole thing was prerecorded sometime last month), because following their woke stunt with "hey look at this cool video game!" would be weird. As if it wasn't already tonally awkward.
