According to Wikipedia:
Transgender people have a
gender identity or
gender expression that differs from their
sex assigned at birth.
[1][2][3] Some transgender people who desire medical assistance to
transition from one sex to another identify as
transsexual.
[4][5] Transgender, often shortened as
trans, is also an umbrella term. In addition to including people whose gender identity is the opposite of their assigned sex (
trans men and
trans women), it may include people who are not exclusively masculine or feminine (people who are
non-binary or genderqueer, including
bigender,
pangender, genderfluid, or agender).
[2][6][7] Other definitions of
transgender also include people who belong to a
third gender, or else conceptualize transgender people
as a third gender.
[8][9] The term
transgender may be defined very broadly to include
cross-dressers.

So technically anyone who believes they're a different gender than the one they're assigned can consider themselves Trans.
Using myself as an example, I see myself as genderfluid/agender, or without a defining gender. However, because it's such a
complicated position on the gender spectrum, I'm not going to say I'm Trans, even if technically it'd be true by definition. I'm not transitioning to either gender, I just style myself depending on how I feel that day, which I think is honestly pretty normal? I just favor androgyny over anything else.
The thing about Manda is this is all very sudden, like she overnight decided "Yeah this is who I am now". I've been the way I am since early childhood- sometimes I think I'm a boy and hate my feminine body, other times I'm fine with what I'm born as. Where I differ here is I actually DO have a type of dysphoria, which I believe is necessary to be actually Trans. She doesn't seem to have this dysphoria because she's completely fine showing herself off as a woman in traditional woman roles [ie on her back getting pounded]. Sure, she may have said she's NB for quite a while [before NB it was Genderfluid] but she seems to only be going with the trends happening, and lately, that trend has been Trans.
I have dysphoria and I still won't call myself Trans. So the fact she's become a trans-trender has me offended and insulted for all the true trans folk out there. I fucking
hate the trans-trenders for the image they paint on the Trans folk, that it's just an experimental phase when it isn't.
