Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Maybe the cops were just holding it all together. I wonder why all the police brutality is in blue cities, maybe it's because their leaders are batshit insane and the cops just have to take whoever they can get to deal with the high crime rates that result from such mismanagement.
I can't find the video anymore, it's buried somewhere in the 2020 riots thread, but the leader of the NY police union mentioned that the NYPD had 3 million and change interactions with the public last year. The overwhelming majority of those interactions were positive.

Every police officer abusing their authority or violence should definitely get punished for it. But the police force in general is being held to absurd standards by these people.

Oh by the way, the day the conference call took place, 18 murders happened, which started at 1 AM that night, making that weekend the most violent weekend that city had in decades.

The mayor didn't even blink.

It's so nice to see that the death of one person, is responsible for sending dozens upon tens of dozens to the afterlife. Ironically, this is after we havr people chanting "No more Death!" Out in the streets.

And to make this a double knockout, we have leaders in our country supporting this act of violence. Boy, are we in good hands or what?

Kind of throws a wrench into the whole ACAB mantra. But then again positive experiences with cops don’t count so people will still hold every bad cop as police as whole...

Is it just me or did the culture war turn up to 11 this week? I mean, it was already at 10, but the cancelling and race baiting this past week has been insane. Last night HBO announced they were removing Gone With The Wind from its catalog because it's problematic. The Failing NYT, a former newspaper, fired its opinion editor because a sitting US Senator penned an op ed that 58% of the country agreed with and the SJW mob went after a Super Bowl winning quarterback.

The left is really trying to seize the moment, but as usual they're overplaying their hand. They've got to be pushing away lots of the people in the center.
I thought it was hilarious that they'd cancel Gone With the Wind because it depicted slavery (Which existed in the era that movie was based in), but they completely ignore the fact that Scarlett's "mammy", portrayed by the actress Hattie McDaniel, actually won an Oscar for her role in that movie. She was the first black actor to ever win one, and now they've effectively just erased her accomplishment and they probably don't even realize it.

How many of these people watch ancient fucking movies, anyways?

I'm sure she wouldn't care. McDaniel was heavily criticized back in the day by the usual shit-flingers for her portrayal of Mammy, claiming that she was helping spread the stereotype of the happy house nigger. Her answer was something along the lines of "If I can't play a servant for $600 a day, I'll have to be a servant for $6 a week."

Why did Reagan pussy out with amnesty? It's not like he didn't know what the people want ffs

Nobody is really sure what Reagan's deal was.

He talked a big game, but always wound up doing the exact opposite of what he said he'd do when it came to certain social issues, such as amnesty.

The easy answer is to say he simply was a Cali liberal all along and played everybody by simply saying the right things, but who knows.

One argument is that once he got power, he found out that a lot of things he wanted to do would get dismantled immediately at the judicial level on the basis of violating the Civil Rights Act, but that doesn't really explain why he had to go whole hog on the other direction. In this formulation, Reaganomics was a way to delay American economic collapse due to overburdened entitlement systems (key word delay, not stop).

It's actually sad that the left is so racist that these black lives don't matter. At all.
But a violent, drug addicted criminal got a gold casket... Hmmm...
Hey @Adamska here's your tinfoil : it's almost like this is some kind of flag... an inauthentic flag you could say...

Honestly, I'm kind of worried about the upcoming election given there's a deeper margin now than there was between him and Clinton.

It's June.

Also, you seen Biden's YouTube ads? He can't even get through reading copy for his campaign ads without flubbing it. In a "THAT was the best take?" kinda way. Biden's only "ahead" because he's more-or-less been invisible lately.

This, once Biden actually has to campaign and Trump starts holding his rallies again even the various biased polls put out by propaganda rags like CNN will show the gap between the two narrowing. Remember too that a lot of these current polls could very easily be oversampling democrats, assuming high turnout for Biden, (lol, not happening) or both.

It also should be pointed out that the Dems had a strong lock on the legislature and knew how to play the game better back then - like actually working out compromises and such.

This was a principle concern of Never Trumpers in 2016. Many feared that Trump was a squish and once in office, the Dems would play him like a fiddle worse than Reagan. (heck, that was a concern of mine at the time)

Little did I realize the dems would go so batshit crazy, they would absolutely push Trump far to the right and lock him into permanent winning mode.

Can't wait to see the excuses they'll try to come up with to get Biden to avoid live debates. Or, if they can't find a good enough excuse, how are they going to hide Biden's teleprompter.

Well put. This is (was?) the Democrats only shot at taking this election and already you can see it starting to crumble. The amount of leftist overreach these past two weeks has been unprecedented and seeing as the average Joe is already sick to death of it this only benefits Trump. These people always get greedy and it always bites them in the arse but they never learn. When I see the way the Democrats have been acting all I can see is pure desperation. That says more to me than polls.

I have seen nothing yet to make me worried about the election and that Biden really has this genuine lead. If you're going to lie, at least make it believable.

You have an economy that might bounce back faster than expected while also shattering any chance for a second wave shutdown thanks to the riots and the hypocrisy on display, and an increasing number of closet Trump supporters who won't say anything out in the open because of the cancel brigades. Especially in the battleground states that had the worst rioting.

The current panic feels like dumping an October Surprise way too early and people are just tuning out and more concerned with their jobs or trying to find one, all the hand wringing is just like when the Access Hollywood tape dropped and Nevertrumpers are sounding like the moral superiors touting "I told you so." These fuckers were trying to pull a negotiated surrender in 2016 like the limp dicks they are.

The only thing I wonder about is Arizona turning blue this year, but a part of me thinks it will be countered by Minnesota or even Illinois turning red. It was brought up a year or so ago that alot of the purple places in the southwest that were once red are a result of the pussies from blue states fleeing and taking their ideas with them to infect, but the midwest states are full of people who can't leave their states because of economic reasons so are turning red to fix what they have.
