Humans are frequently worse than animals. Very few animals torture for fun or put smaller species in cages. Elephants for example are very intelligent (I remember the story of an elephant in India who didn't obey human's order to drop a log into a crevice; turns out there was a dog sleeping there and possibly Dumbo realized it would kill the dog - and humans kill them for absolutely useless ivory. Dumbos also fear skittering critters like spiders - who doesn't, right?)
Anyway... humans veeery slowly adapt by reproduction to technology (think alcohol metabolism, ability to not get diabetes from grains - which NA Indians almost always got when they intergrated with USA), the problem is reproduction is way too slow, addiction to Twitter or videogames is one symptom of this and honestly I don't care much about all that moral blahblah. Misplaced sense of compassion or justice can do more damage than cold indifference.

He’s currently got a few pals trying to deflect the abuse accusations. One even said “he’s not an abuser, he just did abusive things” I kid you fucking not.

The guy was doing this for years and harassing other users by constantly spamming them, he got banned for being a complete dipshit.

Separate issue, but they shouldn't be able to ban you from single player games you paid for due to forum and multiplayer conduct. That's the horrifying part.

After an initiative by the Communist Party of Canada (CPC), the Communist Party of Mexico (PCM) and the Communist Party, USA (CPUSA) more than 40 Communist and Workers' Parties from all over the world have signed a joint declaration in solidarity with the workers and the people of the United States, against repression, capitalism and its barbarism.

The Joint Declaration reads:

We, the Communist and Worker's Parties express our solidarity with the multinational working class of the USA and with the North American people that have taken to the streets mobilizing against racism, repression, unemployment, and other acute problems caused by the capitalist system of exploitation.

The murder of George Floyd is not an exception, it's a rule racist policy, against African-Americans, Latinos, and immigrants of other nationalities. The system of exploitation confronts, in the same manner, the whole of the working class, as the COVID-19 pandemic proves, that is currently over two million infections and almost 113,000 deaths, where many lives could have been saved, but a privatized health care system turned out to be dangerous because its criteria is capitalist profit.

Poverty, unemployment, the attack on worker's rights, anti-immigrant policies, police brutality, imperialist aggressions towards other Peoples, social decomposition through drugs and crime, prove that capitalism is barbarism and that Socialism is both current and necessary.

We the Communist and Worker's Parties express:

-Our condemnation of the racist murder of George Floyd and protesters, victims of the Trump administration's Repression Policies.

-Our solidarity with the workers and people of the USA, who in all cities protest racism and repression.

These stupid fucks know they caused this, I refuse to believe they're this lacking in self awareness. The language is so close, but they exonerate themselves of all responsibility - the alt-right will escalate for some reason against the righteous folx and the racist sheeple citizens will support the white supremacists because they worship their dumb rock totems. Not because they might actually care about the well being of their state history, all the good and bad of it, and recognize the dangers of destroying evidence of the past.

You have to lack an actual brain to not see the insane amount of corporate and mainstream support blm and their comrades are getting. People always talk about how problematic the protagonist (Scarlett) is but she gets her comeuppance in the end. Her home and way of life is destroyed, people close to her like her parents, daughter and friend all die and the two men that she felt conflicted over leave her. Because America is culturally dominant in the global stage. Look at how many people ate up movies like Avengers Endgame. Its based on American comics, with many of the characters being based in America and many of the actors being American and or from an Anglophone country. But that movie has admission and box office records around the world, especially in developing countries.

I also think this is just faux outrage and fake support. Escalated by the fact that people have nothing to do and or lost their jobs with the coronavirus. Where were these people when Black Lives Matter started in 2013?

By next year people will go back to turning the blind eye to all the injustice that they're fighting for right now.
