I'm amazed this dumb broad did a video on DID, a concept even most actual professionals have issues agreeing on, let alone specializing in. IDK why it has me actually MOTI, but damn, first NPD, then this? If I had the energy I'd properly watch but damn her voice is grating.

If these rules are enforced, I don't see how any of them can survive. What is a haydur channel if it isn't engaged in prolonged insults based on "intrinsic attributes"

They illustrate it thusly: Repeatedly showing pictures of someone and then making statements like “Look at this creature’s teeth, they’re so disgusting!”, with similar commentary targeting intrinsic attributes throughout the video.

I think they may very well have lifted that line straight from a reaction channel. I like how they throw in the word "creature" to make it more egregious, heh.

I guess the haydurs could argue that fat isn't "intrinsic", but if a SJW is manning the YouTube banhammer, then this argument will not fly.

Another alternative is skits and parodies, but those actually take some serious work and at least a little talent. If they are lame, it is the haydur who would look like the lolcow.

Or, one could couch the criticism inside uplifting "advice", as we have seen some channels do.


If YouTube is serious (and why wouldn't they be if they went to all the trouble of writing the rules and making a childish video to illustrate them?), it spells doom for the haydur nation.

That ought to be enough to make Amberlynn and Chantal wet their pants (which, admittedly, does not take much). However, I will repeat the old adage I always repeat at times like these. They had better be careful what they wish for. Those haydur channels made them. Their views and subscriber counts tripled once the haydurs started popping up like dandelions. The communities that sustain them were born on YouTube comment sections. Take that away, and the fatties will lose their relevance. Corona-chan damaged their ad revenue, and a dropoff in viewership would really put the...uh...squeeze on them.

For we farmers, this might be interesting to see what happens.

Perhaps I've missed it, but does anyone know what university YDHB graduated from?

I believe she said she lives near Newcastle and I've seen the fact she attended a top university mentioned elsewhere, so my first thought was Durham, but...I would have expected a bit more from a Durham graduate.

I'm really confused as to why she isn't concerned about her channel hurting her career prospects. If she does end up going into research, she might be okay, but if she ever hopes to practice, this could hurt her even being able to get onto training. Hell, even the idea of having a channel like that linked to my real name makes me nervous.

It’s Durham . Honestly I’m sure she’s confident that she can just sell it as giving her opinions on various ppl and subjects . Think about it , if she never does another Amber video and the other content becomes the majority of her channel , years from now when she’s going into the field it won’t look like she only picked on Amber but that she discussed various ppl And Amber happened to be one that she talked about often at the beginning of her Channel. I personally don’t think this is the end of her chances at employment it just depends on what’s happening at the moment she’s done studying and ready for employment .

That's very true.

I'm really surprised she's willing to risk it, though. If you're wanting to practice, being so harsh - to the point of making mocking merch - about someone whose problems are clearly related to trauma is not a good look. You'll be working with a lot of people like Amber, toxic behaviours and weight problems included. Even if it bypasses the admissions process of your training, even if it bypasses your employer (most likely the NHS, who do look people up and will discriminate based on it), what if a patient sees it?

Definitely not the end of her chances at employment, no, but I don't think most would risk it. You're even told during your degree to be careful about your social media presence if you plan to go down that path. Perhaps it's not as much of a concern for her if she's deadset on going into research, though.

she slowed down with her aggressive comebacks at people cause she got a bit of backlash for it and lost few subscribers, also she never could go full crazy, she’s not that stupid. Wouldn’t surprise me if fitqueen was her, but for now I guess we just need to watch
