Having read through backlash against the JKR terfening, most of their arguments boil down to "Trans people are constantly murdered and the only way to stop this is by collectively denying reality and not questioning anything they claim"
So let's look at the numbers:
According to Trans Murder Monitoring, 30 trans people were murdered in the USA in 2019. According to UCLA, 0.6% (1.4 million) people in the US identify as transgender but keep in mind that many trans activists will tell you that number is higher in reality.
30/1400000 gives us a murder rate of 2.14 per 100 000 people.
The US murder rate is 4.96 per 100 000 (2018 data), according to the FBI.
A tranny is almost two times LESS likely to be killed then your average American.

The oft quoted 41% suicide rate isn't true either- the figure comes from an online survey from a trans rights organization. Their ideology falls apart under even the slightest scrutiny, so their only real tactic is to emotionally blackmail people into supporting troondom. The only places transgenders are actually vastly overrepresented are the Sex Offender Registry and STD/personality disorder statistics.

That's why you'll see troonsbians claiming that lesbians not wanting to fuck them is actual, literal violence and gaydens threatening to kill themselves when their mansonas aren't properly validated. Their only two arguments to anything trans-related are "Do [x] or I'll be murdered" and "Do [x] or I'll commit suicide".

following up on my last post, apparently it was in 2012 when that tumblr "dear cis people" thing started, but i remember that it was in 2013 when people started spreading that shit all across the web (youtube, 4chan, etc) and that's when a lot of us first became aware of the tranny menace



this online trans subculture is probably older than that blog, but this is when it first started getting noticed outside its own small niche part of the internet (tumblr), and it only took a few years until it had grown from that stage of "annoying weirdo shit used for ironic shitposting on 4chan" to the point where mainstream media outlets unironically repeat and support their absurd messages. i really wonder how the hell this shit managed to get as big and influential as it is today, and how it could happen so damn fast.

also yeah the 41% isn't actual suicides, it's just lifetime risk of suicide attempts based on self reporting

And as @DumbDude42 mentioned, the 41% is a fun meme, but it's just a lifetime risk of attempting (not necessarily succesfully) suicide. Since it's self-reported I'm pretty sure it also includes "then I took three aspirins and waited for death" types, and plenty of flat-out fabrications where they didn't even go as far as procuring the rope, much less learning how to tie a noose.

(That last one is a personal anecdote, by the way. I once met someone who talked a big talk about being this close to attempting suicide and got plenty of asspats for it. Turns out, he had no idea how to tie any sort of knot, much less a noose.)

Trannies are the most fragile babies on the planet. I read the whole essay and it was extremely moderate. She doesn't come out calling all troons AGP perverts, most of it is just focused on misogyny and women's mental health and safety. I imagine most terfs would disagree with it because she says she supports transitioning to relieve gender dysphoria. Really, her main points in the essay were

• Womanhood isn't defined by liking girly things
• A lot of women want to escape womanhood due to misogyny
• Ignoring the biological reality of femaleness is dehumanizing and is used to silence women
• By ignoring women's concerns about single-sex spaces being dismantled, you are making women and girls less safe and silencing abused women

Like they said, they don't want people to read this because it makes sense. It's an essay that's easy to read and understand, and I imagine a lot of moderates would sympasize with it. The response she's getting is perfectly reflective of the misogyny, and how people love to bask in the preformative activism of tweeting #transwomenarewomen, with no further critical thinking.

That's just about the best way to discover who's who.

If someone identifies as transgender, but: recognizes gender dysphoria as a serious mental illness, demands no special treatment from other people, keeps a low profile (doesn't sperg about being misgendered either), and accepts the biological reality that they'll never truly be a woman/man no matter how many surgeries they undergo... well, yes. That's a long list. But someone like that is far more likely to be actually transgender. Hormonal therapy and surgery aren't there to cure their gender dysphoria. It's a disconnect in the brain, it doesn't really go away no matter what you do, but it can be alleviated. That's what transition is meant to do: a last resort set of procedures and drugs to help manage the psychological element when all therapeutical, non-surgical and non-hormonal things have failed.

Unfortunately, transgender being so rare means doctors and medical companies don't get to make barrels of cash out of them.

For that, you need the troons. There are many very good reasons as to why they're so popular now but let me specify one: they're enormous cash cows. Well-intentioned or not, troons are currently the ultimate in consoom product. After all, what other so avowedly anti-capitalist demographic spends so much on non-vital surgeries, cosmetics, clothing, and non-vital drugs, out of their own free will?
