A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

Maybe this will be the last straw that finally gets them to read a different book.
Don't worry, The Wheel of Time is getting an Amazon series made. They sure as fuck aren't patient enough to read the books but they will watch the series what with its unreasonably diverse cast and probable misinterpretation of the story's undertones.

She's trying to appease the mob as she's clearly stepping out of line. It won't save her.

The third is that, as a much-banned author, I’m interested in freedom of speech and have publicly defended it, even unto Donald Trump.

She did include, though minor, a defense in Donald Trumps light. I don't doubt she dislikes the U.S president, for reason both valid and...less so. But I can always show some admiration to a person who refuses to approve of silence someone, even if they disagree with them. I can actually relate to J.K a bit, a friend of mine was more or less "motivated" to take a break from posting his drawings on Twitter for having the controversial opinion of agreeing with what BLM wanted to and that the police need some reform, but burning down peoples homes and businesses and stealing their stuff wasn't a good way to go about it. I'm sure everyone here who knows what Twitter is like can imagine the response that got. He wasn't even that big, but the shit he got thrown at him was enough for him to decide to leave Twitter until this all blew over.

I read the whole thing and I'm....shocked. It's all entirely sensible and well reasoned and I can't really find anything bad to say about it.

I still think she helped create this shitty woke culture that's currently attacking her but if nothing else I have respect for her not caving and apologizing for doing nothing wrong like literally every other celebrity does in these situations.

"It's never too late to correct a mistake"

Quoting old Berenstien Bear books aside, I'm just glad she's doing something now rather then later. A lot of the issues she brought up might be old hat for some people, but it's refreshing to see someone that's not one of the "usual suspects" say that the fact that all a man has to do is say he's a women and he can use the women's restroom is kind of insane. I know ten years ago saying that would be seen as a joke, now it can get you cancelled. Still, the end of J.K's essay, the one where she's had many people message her in support does give me hope that the world hasn't completely lost it.

This has rapidly become my favourite drama of the year

Short of a bunch of problem-glasses twitterati setting alight JK's Swiss Bank, there's really nothing they can do to stop this woman. Shaming won't work, blacklisting can't work (she's succeeded at everything bar Fantastic Beasts) and they really don't know where to go next because normally these fiesty underdogs already have all the billionaires and multinational corporations on their side from the start

JK has the power to flip the cultural script, and that's got to be pants-shittingly scary for advocates of this stuff

Am I the only one who gets MOTI whenever I hear about some trany in the news?

So is "Ketchum" his real last name or did he change his name completely just to make a pop culture reference, tranny style? He proves my point that, yet again, trannies never pass. Can you imagine being a 50-something conservative politician having to pretend to be okay with this knowing that his political career is on the line?

How tall is he? I love it when they look like ogres in a dress.

No, it’s really Ketchum. Ian Ketchum as @trannyfucker provided. He’s the oldest of three boys. Standing next to his chad brothers he’s even more of a massive flamer.

Or a minority at all. These people are so indoctrinated that they don't even know what the words they're using actually mean outside of their cult.

Never forget that social justice weirdos routinely change the definitions of words on the fly (a.k.a. lying) during discussion to manipulate people. These assholes "on the right side of history" are some of the most disingenuous and dishonest people alive.

Also, fuck Rowling. This isn't her rejecting leftist/liberal cultism like some people are celebrating: it's her angry that her place in the oppression pecking order as a white woman is being threatened by the white men that she hates because they've started wearing dresses and wigs.

Yep, that's a lot more likely than her suddenly discovering her classical liberal values.

The best thing is that the vast majority of her fans don't give a shit. I follow a Facebook page known for its low-key terfiness, and they recently posted something asking for their followers' Hogwarts houses (which I'm sure was intentional given anti-Rowling outrage), and, out of hundreds of comments, I only saw three pitching a fit about Rowling.

Most people range between indifferent about and hostile toward trannies, and, if these people weren't total narcissistic morons, they'd learn to stop attacking normal people.

He looks 40. And he looks like the kind of dweeb who gets beaten up by ten year old girls, probably why he hates women.

He's going through the Elijah Wood transformation from cute child to adult gremlin.

After Rowling published her essay, the Human Rights Campaign responded in a statement from the organization’s president, Alphonso David, given to Variety:

The fact that J.K. Rowling is doubling down in using her massive platform to spread anti-trans propaganda while refusing to respond to outreach by LGBTQ groups like the Human Rights Campaign is appalling. As one of the most famous women in the world and one whose work has inspired countless LGBTQ young people to imagine a world of acceptance and inclusivity, she bears an extra responsibility to ensure that her words do not do damage. Let me be clear: J.K. Rowling is trafficking in harmful lies at a time when the trans community is facing unspeakable violence. At least twenty-six transgender and gender non-confirming people were killed in 2019. 2020 has already seen at least twelve transgender or gender non-conforming people killed. Trans women are women, and Rowling’s attempt to hide behind the mantle of trans-exclusive feminism hurts both the trans and feminist communities. Rowling’s words are inflicting harm on the transgender and non-binary community, who are already among the world’s most marginalized and endgangered [sic] populations. If she won’t listen to trans advocates about the harm she is causing, she does not deserve her platform.

I'd archive, but Yahoo articles never archive correctly.

Did they even read the books? Wizards and muggles are hardly accepting of each other. Wizards don’t accept all other wizards. Harry isn't even completely accepted in the wizarding world. People read way too much into these books.

I've not read any of them, but isn't the entire plot that Harry sleeps under a stair case because his adopted parents hate him?

Isn't the entire point that he's not fully accepted in either world and he needs to overcome shit like that?

In other new Daniel Radcliffe just turned 40 recently.
Lol
30, just like Watson.
The missing man of the heroic trio, Rupert Grint has said nothing about this whole nonsense. May be because he's now a new dad, or is doing property and doesn't gaf about all of this shit. He hasn't put anything up about BLM.

They have characters who believe in wizard racial purity in these books, using the term "mudblood" for any wizard born of ordinary parents. It's a thing, at least from what I remember watching the movies when they came out.
