Demographic replacement has nothing to do with it. Notice how the key part is they know I don't believe in their personal pronouns, but I'm using them anyway to honor their courtesy for me and how I wish to be regarded. I don't have a problem with a semantic gesture of that nature, and to my knowledge it does not conflict with my faith to do so.
