If a civil war were to happen tomorrow, they would just pussy out in actually pulling the trigger. Killing people is a fact of war and you either have nerves of steel or you will probably run away and desert during a battle because that's how this works by the way.

If there was a coup attempt or civil war it would be executed by military brass who are fully bought in on the system, and the people who follow them because they're trained to. Just look at the letters that got sent out to the military with those generals pledging their loyalty to BLM and disparaging the President. You'd have to have a charismatic military leader to take back control from people like that.

May have already been said, but Gone With The Wind isn't being banished forever unlike what some fearmongers are claiming.

"These racist depictions were wrong then and are wrong today, and we felt that to keep this title up without an explanation and a denouncement of those depictions would be irresponsible," the HBO Max statement says.

When the film returns to the platform it "will be presented as it was originally created, because to do otherwise would be the same as claiming these prejudices never existed," the statement said. "If we are to create a more just, equitable and inclusive future, we must first acknowledge and understand our history.”
