  • Minneapolis police were caught ON CAMERA kneeing George Floyd, a Black man, to death.
  • Minneapolis goes through rioting a DAY or so after footage goes public
  • Targets, Auto Zones, several businesses, burn to the ground
  • Rioting and protests extends through multiple cities, more businesses get destroyed
  • ACAB (All Cops Are Bastards) forms, demands for defunding and abolishing police
  • Minneapolis police officers responsible are charged
  • Millions of dollars are raised for George Floyd's family and funeral, among other things
  • George Floyd is found out to be a middle aged porn guy I believe...
  • Several companies are virtue signaling on social media AS protests/riots continue to happen
  • Trump weighs in, threatens NG deployment
  • Funeral gets broadcasted, Floyd gets a GOLD CASKET
  • Chicago is a lawless paradise, Hispanic gang members control communities, targeting any and all Black people
  • Gone With The Wind is pulled from circulation, shows depicting cops are getting cancelled
  • Seattle gets a communist coup, said leader of coup accused of rape, threatens suicide
  • Coup barricades themselves, runs out of food within two days
Feel free to chime in on other stuff, I'm sure I missed some things. Mind you, this has happened within a span of two weeks. And all the while, we are still under COVID-19 guidelines supposedly. We are six months into 2020 and it feels like the world is falling apart.

I don't understand the Left's sudden hatred for statues in general. All around the Twitters, dipshit blue check marks are making really lame snarky jabs at statues about how they're pointless and serve no purpose. In that case, let's topple some Lenin statues and see if they're okay with it. Maybe we can obliterate the Fearless Girl in Wall Street.

At this point, I have to ask...
Where are all of those "ebil nadzees" in all of this? You'd figure that, if there were actually this growing pool of white supremacist organizations stockpiling weapons and whatnot, they'd be coming out to make a show of force against the rioters. Them coming out of the woodwork to mow down a bunch of commies would unironically be very good optics for them.
It's almost like white nationalist extremism is overblown and/or virtually nonexistent or something...

Also, contrary to what Twitter historians think, actual historians use statues all the time to learn about different cultural values and art techniques from different time periods (this is especially true in art history). Statues are a worldwide thing and they meant different things to different people. To say that statues have no value is disingenuous and insulting to those that dedicate their time and effort into making them. If it were up to me, I’d try to preserve all statues just because they can give a good glimpse at important events and people. This is one of the big reasons I don’t like censorship.
