I've been looking for the right story, article or video to share in relation to the collateral damage suffered by comedy as a result of this whole Floyd riot fiasco.

So far, the Matt Lucas/David Walliams series Little Britain has been deleted from BBC's iPlayer service, and four of Chris Lilley's shows (We Can Be Heroes, Summer Heights High, Angry Boys and Jonah From Tonga) have been pulled from Netflix.

Thankfully, Australia's most based YouTuber has summed this fuckery up way better than I ever could. The Buttsmarn doesn't mention The Mighty Boosh, Come Fly With Me and The League of Gentlemen also getting cancelled, but to be fair you need to be an especially autistic British comedy fan to care about those.

The domestic Little Britain DVDs are also no longer listed on Amazon.co.uk. Even the covers must be "offensive". What a time to be alive.

At least The League of Gentlemen hasn't been pulled from Amazon. Yet.

Whilst it won't affect me directly (bought the DVDs years ago; ripped them shortly afterwards), I am somewhat disturbed at just how quickly these shows have gone from being "funny if a bit dated" to "worse than Hitler"... being, of course, Eddie Hitler from Bottom.

If by 'the left' you mean 'communists' then yes, they abhor art-for-art's sake & any media that isn't actively choking communism down your throat. It's the root of the reason why SJWs are constantly infesting and cleansing comics and all other media.

Yes, it's scary. I picked up the complete LB for $3 online years ago and am very happy for it now. Not a huge fan, but I do love Vicky Pollard.

Had zero impact on the industry in comparison to the self described lefty male feminist screaming about 'video games being too sexy!' Since they actually DID impact the industry and have pushed changes.

Powerlevel, my democrat babyboom parents still rail about Christian Fundamentalists bogeyman trying to control America and force Christianity censorship today while utterly turning a blind eye to actual censorship pushed by liberal media that is clearly going on.

I'll be honest. I'd rather deal with Leave It to Beaver world Fundies want rather than whatever dumpster fire we have currently.
