And the troons are making it almost impossible for the mentally ill to be offered, or to expect, any kind of treatment other than chopping off body parts and a lifetime of drugs.
Not to mention that they are destroying any last bit of sympathy the rest of us might have had for them say 10 years ago.

Not to sperg (even though it is), majority US states (last I checked, unsure about Europe) push that you need at least 1 year of general therapy, a referral from a therapist, a psychiatrist, and a doctor to prove you are actually transgender, and then I think 1.5-2 years on hormones before full surgery is suggested.
That imo is the best way to weed out troons vs trans, but sadly states like California w/their informed consent can bypass all that and give any tard hormones and surgery, which I bet a majority of the troons "shaking and terrified" of JK's essay support.

I am genuinely irked at how lefties and especially transies have taken ownership of the word "folks." It's always "trans folks" this and "black folks" that. Back in the good old days, I could use the word every so often just for a little flair. It sounded, well, "folksy"--old-fashioned and quaint. But it's all ruined now. These days, I can barely mouth the word without burping up homemade kombucha and handing my wife's boyfriend the Switch controller.

'Normal tranny' is a contradiction in terms. There are no 'real'/'fake' trannies. You can be more or less autistic, more or less of a joke, more or less obviously the product of recent fads but there is nothing that renders someone more or less 'real'.
For sure, you could have more or less significant psychological issues that you may or may not call 'gender dysphoria' and it is possible that those issues may be more or less attenuated through a little pretend-play. However, in the end those issues are not innate or inherent, they are always contingent on your present circumstances and how you are able to understand and justify yourself and your desires. Any 'real' tranny in a different society would quickly find themselves not so 'real' after all.

Around 105% of the time, whenever someone shows up and says they're a type of lolcow but they aren't the same as the other lolcows in their group, they are twice as much of a lolcow as normal for that group. One symptom of ASD is thinking in absolutes - if you're female but not a girly girl/male but not manly, then that must mean you're the opposite gender, or something in between. Not caring about what's fashionable and just doing your own thing is also common. Kids and teenagers on the spectrum fall for this in particular, and rather than just starting them on the hormones, there should be more encouragement for psychologists to teach these kids to think in a more nuanced way and realise that not being a walking stereotype is normal.
