Yep, this is Chess and Trump's best move right now is to stay the course and refuse to be forced into giving them what they want. That isn't without cost but there is always a cost. The question is how far the Dems will push it in this game of chicken. They are letting their cities burn - literally and figuratively - but to put the fire out they have to concede their desperate gambit has failed. And they are so very desperate. I genuinely believe some of them would let the cities collapse entirely as long as they believe it will drive out Trump.

The only thing that can stop them is the people in those cities themselves demanding action. There are two threads that everything hangs from right now - the first is that nobody wants to be the first to stick their neck out and say "BLM have gone way too far". The second is how long the Democratic Governors and Mayors can keep people under the impression that it is Trump's responsibility to bring order to their states, not theirs.

For anyone who doesn't like the way things are going and wants to run counter-information, those are the two points of attack, imo.

Please do not fall for their LARP. Despite what the ANTIFA profiles on twitter will have you think, these are not revolutionaries who took control of a part of a city and I sincerely doubt they are ever going to defend their "borders" if anyone showed up to make them leave. They're a bunch of college kids who decided those two streets were a "safe zone" to protest, have their speeches and do shit without getting tear gassed by the police.
All of those who are pretending they're the new Lenin are just embarrassing themselves. They're building a center for the community to gather and talk politics, not a new country.

What I don't understand is why George Floyd? Why have the riots been going on all over America and even in other countries for nearly three weeks?
The protest for Eric Garner was nothing like this.
The Rodney King riots lasted 6 days and were confined to L.A.
I don't recall what was the aftermath of Tashii Farmer (if there was one)
I'm starting to believe in conspiracy theories considering Floyd and Chauvin worked at the same place during the same time in a 54 Square Mile city. What are the odds?

Clearly they want everyone's impression of historical figures to be from the cartoon drawings in Extra Credits and their ilk. They sure don't want people to get their impression of historical figures from their actual contemporaries, that would expose their strawmen, and call into question whether we really are so much more enlightened now.
