You don't even have to read text, within a few minutes of the video its explained that this is part of the company's umbrella ban on all political accessories, and that the memo states how Starbucks sympathizes with the cause.

I'm finding it all really rather interesting that people are going after historical racists, homophobes, and anyone who's done anything remotely negative over the last few hundred years, yet Karl Marx is still a hill these people are willing to die on. BLM has always had very Marxist leanings, yet you point out to people his stance on things like Jews, Mexicans and other such things, and it goes down the memory hole, into the mental gym and after a few gymnastics, it comes out on the "It's totally fine because of the age" kind of shit.

I believe it was the CCCP who coined the term "Useful idiots", but I'm seeing roundly apolitical people starting to tout Marxist propaganda since this started, and it's beginning to concern me just how many people are starting to seriously buy into this nonsense. People who say BLM is a solely Black Lives interested group are deluded, and it's being pushed by Socialist/Commie types who really need to be taken on a helicopter ride.

I understand that but in making a stand and implementing their policy fairly, irrespective of how badly it will be received, they've given BLM big fuck you


I understand *why* and their policy on banning all politically associated clothing. But when so many other companies are spreading their cheeks to BLM I appreciate the fuck you, so will be buying Starbucks now. Because fuck BLM.

One of the local gun shops was packed earlier this week. Tons of people who had never owned a gun and some who had obviously never even shot one. A woman checking out next to me was buying a shotgun and didn’t know how to load, shoot, or clean it, so hopefully people run away if she racks it or who knows what she’ll end up shooting. There wasn’t any defensive ammo in the store and very few pistols. All in all, a positive development. The salesman and I did have a nice chat about how funny it is when liberals who voted for gun control get their ass chapped when they can’t walk out the door with whatever they want.

This is peak historical censorship and more evidence that either they don't know the history of these monuments (Despite it being WRITTEN ON THE FUCKING THING) or they don't care. This wasn't glorifying the civil war or the confederacy. It was effectively a giant grave stone to POWS. By removing this, they're basically sanitizing and erasing the deaths of thousands.

Is it because they were confederates and thus racists so who cares? Was it because allowing nearly 2000 prisoners to die makes the union look like shit? Or is it simply because they want to wipe out all mention of that part of history at all?

Who can say.

If the think about BLM being a cover for the DNC election drive is true. The DNC probably now has the most expensive war chest for an election in history. They're betting Trump is going to lose in November and are deciding to take sides early because Trump has been weak as hell anyhow. They know they won't have as many issues turning against him if he wins, as if they were to stand FOR him and the left takes over. The left will be out for blood. He won't.
