Here's a drinking game for you, if you look through the reblogs on the original post:

  • Someone says "ACAB"
  • "They're just sad they can't oppress people in silence anymore!"
  • You look at someone's profile, and they're 21 or younger.
  • The word "pigs" or "oink" are used
  • "Silence is violence"
  • "KEEP FIGHTING!"
  • "There are no good cops, all of them contribute to systems of oppression"
  • "We don't need police officers, we have doctors, nurses, social workers that can do that job"
  • Profile has genderspecial identity attached to it
  • "You're going to make all the good ones quit" is met with "GOOD!"
  • Someone implies that all cops are white men
  • SJW word salads
  • Anyone who says "Not All Cops" is called a bootlicker
  • It's obvious when the person has obviously never interacted with a cop, ever, in their life

AND

  • Someone says something to the effect of "working retail is harder than being a cop"
  • "We're being slandered as racists and being physically attacked and having our livelihoods threatened" is met with "aww, they're sad people don't like them!"
  • "Cops spend every day murdering innocent minorities, they deserve this."

I have seen a lot of absolute dumpster fire posts on that godforsaken website, but this one- this fucking one- might actually be the worst. Part of it is the fact that it's hardcore ACAB shit with very little resistance, but part of it is just... Like, read the comments that this bitch quoted on her post.

She didn't quote officers being racist, bigoted, sexist, violent, nasty, whatever- just about every single comment she posted is a stressed-out police officer saying "Holy Christ, I am receiving hatred and abuse for something a cop I DON'T EVEN KNOW did. My spouse is terrified for my safety, my mental health is suffering, it's just not worth it anymore."

These people are actual fucking garbage.

They should have any. Daddy is probably still paying for their phone plan. He probably was too lenient because "muh daughters, muh lil princesses". They're like a parasite. Nearly all of the Starbucks coffee shops I've seen in my area have been contained inside of another business that has absolutely zilch to do with coffee shops. There's one inside of a grocery store, for fuck's sake.

A lot of the big corporations are in dire straits because of the rona. Starbucks is heavily reliant on tourist spending, which has all but vanished. I expect them to eventually bend the knee but the fact there's any kind of push back from them should tell us they're seriously worried about the downstream effects of going full woke.

Caribou coffee is really good however I like some of the local coffee shops. the vibe is more low key and they have better pastries. 1

I don't think it's a coincidence that a lot of the ACAB crowd is primarily made up of people under the age of 25.

You have the spoiled-brat teenagers that have zero responsibilities who can tweet whatever they want comfortably from their safe home, and you have the spoiled college students that are living in a very liberal college culture, whilst also being high on the first-time freedom of being away from mom and dad.

Both groups, at the end of the day, are spoiled little fucks who have been taught that there are no significant consequences for their shitty behavior. The behavior is ingrained now, and so when they finally do run up against someone- say, the cops- whose job it is to hold them accountable for shitty behavior like, say, smashing windows and punching people who disagree with you Nazis, there's a very natural push-back there. They've been conditioned to believe that they can do whatever they want, and that throwing a temper-tantrum when confronted will get others to back off and give them what they want.

tl;dr these people are spoiled toddlers in grown/semi-grown-up bodies. Cops are inherently threatening to them because they are authority figures that, unlike mommy and daddy and your twitter following, don't respond well to tantrums.
