Credits are always a crap shoot because you never know what you are gonna get. Can you skip them? Can you fast forward them? Is there a hidden epilogue that only plays if you watch them? Will they just repeat if I take the 20 minutes to watch them? Fable the lost chapters only lets you play after beating the game if you don't skip the credits for instance. The best credits though will do something to make them entertaining Gears 1 had the Cole Train singing some song. Warcraft 3 recreates the cutscenes from Warcraft 2 for comedic effect. 90 minutes of crawling white text on a black screen as the ost plays and runs out before the credits finish while you have to keep moving your controller to stop the console from shutting off isn't exactly going to win many people over.I hate it when games have absurdly long credits, especially when you decide to go into overtime to finish a game and it's already late and then you have to sit through long credits making it even later by the time everything is said and done.
We absolutely don't need all the foreign localizers to be credited in the US version of a game, for example.
But 90 minutes takes the cake, I can't imagine actually sitting through that without just skipping it or exiting out or doing anything to make it stop.
