That honestly sounds like something that should be illegal. I sure as hell bet that if some right wing company started disciplining people for going off about how terrible cops and america are and shit the media would try to burn them down.
The fact that blacks kill most blacks isn't important. The fact that 9 unarmed black people were shot last year in a country of 327 million, a number of deaths more than FOUR TIMES smaller than the number of people killed by falling TVs (41) isn't important. The fact that around 1000 people are killed by cops a year, only 200 or so of which are black isn't important. The fact that there are dozens of better targets of outrage, like mandatory minimums or prison labor, isn't important.
This entire "Problem" is manufactured from the ground up, exaggerated, injected with a metric ton of pathos, and fed to the masses by the media in a way designed to shock and awe them. It is effectively identical to the Herst style Yellow Journalism of the late 1800's and early 1900's; a bunch of baseless fear mongering designed to both make oodles of cash and sway the dumb masses towards the goals of the rich and powerful.

Even though things have been relatively bad this year, things are still overall very excellent if you live in a first world country, which I think the vast majority of us here do. We have electricity, indoor plumbing, abundant food supplies, personal care and hygeine products, medical technology, endless entertainment and the opportunity for socialization and to have hobbies...the list goes on and on. Almost no one needs to live day to day fearing they will be killed, starve to death, or catch a fatal disease (yes there's the coof now but it's still NOTHING like what humans once had to deal with on the disease front.) Compared to how we humans started out, we're practically living like gods now. It just helps to put things into perspective sometimes.

That last part, though. That's the crux of it. Calling her a traitor to "her people" when it's based on the colour of her skin. Who are "her people"? To the identity politics crowd? Black people. Because that's what they see when they look at her. But the whole point she is making, the thing she pushes for day after day is that your politics don't have to be defined by what other people say you are. She targets Black people as a demographic, yes. But isn't there a qualitative difference between saying "because you are X, you should believe Y" and "stop believing Y, just because you're X"?

The comparison loses some applicability here, because Floyd wasn't lynched. He was apprehended by police in the commission of a dangerous crime (DUI) and died from drug abuse, while restrained in a manner that wouldn't hurt anyone (and didn't hurt him). If some white junkie felon with half a pharmacy in his veins decided today was a good day to wrassle the cops, and he died in the process, 1) no one would hear about it, and 2) anyone who did hear about it would chuckle approvingly. A white person who condemned the dead man's self-destructive behavior would not be seen as "shitting on the community," as respectable people don't identify with the criminal community. Even disreputable people like me can acknowledge that some folks just had it coming.
Chapelle brushes aside Owens and others who bring up Floyd's history, his drug abuse, and his behavior on the day he died. But these things, insofar as they were known to the police, are absolutely necessary to determining their state of mind at the time Floyd died. The offender's mental state is an element of almost every serious crime, it's the difference between murder 1 and involuntary manslaughter (or an acquittal). I imagine Chapelle and others think the cops looked at Floyd as "black man" and this perception is what drove their actions, when they probably saw him as "violent felon, mentally altered, physically resisting multiple officers." And his drug abuse (and general ill health) are relevant to determining whether a homicide even occurred. The medical examiner gave his opinion, but the jury will hear other experts and make their decision. Netflix comedians can ignore these minor details, but the actual justice system--and people interested in justice--can't. When you ignore evidence that mitigates a crime, when someone says you're not even allowed to talk about it or you're a race traitor, that's when you get lynchings.
