Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

Dunno if this is allowed, but it made me laugh.

This is the shit the Left should be mocking Trump for, not reeing about imaginary Neo Nazis or letting their cities get torched to "own" him.

Trump leaves office: We did it everybody! Racism is over! Everyone claps
Just like when Obama won you'll see the Left completely forget the last 8 years and be happy while the Right hypocritically flips it's shit.

Hell I wouldn't be surprised if the next Dem president largely continues Trump's policies just like Obama did with Bush.

Unless the Left royally fucks up we'll probably have a Dem president in 2024.

Much like eight years of Obama caused "Obama fatigue" that made it harder for a Democrat to win, especially one as hated as Hillary, husband of the guy responsible for "Clinton fatigue," eight years of Trump will make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican. Biden may be enough of a limp noodle, especially if he's as senile as he's acting lately, to end up a one termer too if he wins.

If Trump wins again, the primaries on both sides in 2023 will be Battle Royale level as it's impossible to imagine a presumptive front runner for either of them.

The thing I'm curious about is if the Dems will still pander to SJWs post Trump given how utterly batshit they've gotten this year and if it'll hurt them in 2024.

I mean Bush 1 managed to win after Reagan because the Democrats were still in shambles.

Then again Bush II got elected despite his pandering to the equally at the time batshit and reviled Religious Right so who knows?

I hope that the 2024 race will be between CWC and just some guy pretending to be Senator Armstrong.

My Poly Sci Professor called this phenomenon the Seven Year Itch because after seven years you realize the President is a lying incompetent idiot and think the other guy from the other party is going to turn it all around. After two terms of any President all their broken promises and the insane positions of their political party turn voters off from them and they want something different and the process repeats itself. Only exceptions are if the economy goes into the toilet under you (Carter, Bush the Elder), the economy takes off like a rocket under you (Regan's economy leading to Bush getting elected, Gore almost getting it under the winner Clinton's economy) or you pardon the living embodiment of a corrupt politician (Ford but it was the right thing to do).

Now that will be entertaining.
Imagine, if you will, for a moment, a podium. Senator Armstrong steps forwards, and proceeds to give a speech about how the frailer aspects of America hold down what it could be. Chris steps forwards and then proceeds to inform Armstrong, and the audience at large, that Magi-Chan just made cookies in C-197, and so he cannot debate today.

Also Bush 1 could still run on Reagan, who was still remarkably popular in a bipartisan way that no President has repeated since. However bad his policies were or whether he was increasingly senile, he was well liked. Despite being actively loathed by a vocal minority (and I was no fan of the fucker), you didn't see the giant disapproval rating Trump currently has. He hasn't had a majority disapproval less than 50% since the first months of his Presidency (other than one very brief dip back in April).

That's one of Ben Garrison's occasional sane cartoons before he turned into a mindless Trumpsucker.
