This is correct about the true nature and function of police; they exist to enforce the rules of the governing body of the day, regardless of the legality and fairness of such laws. Police are, often by law, given special legal protections while performing their duties. But to say police exist solely as a mechanism to reinforce racial inequity is absurd since they'd do it regardless of who is in power. Remember, SCOTUS ruled police do not owe a specific duty to provide police services to citizens. Police serve government, no matter who's in power.
This is a common communist trick, to make an accurate/truthful statement and them immediately use it as the foundation for a communist (in this case a Maoist) falsehood. Look at any communist dictatorship and you'll find criminal punishments are much harsher than those in non-communist countries. Crimes are classified as not against an individual but as crimes against the people, equivalent to genocide. Enemies of the people do not merit compassion. They want you to see police as enemies of the people and thus guilty of genocide. As several have posted earlier, BLM/Antifa are responsible for more deaths of black people this year than those killed by police last year. And we're only half-way through 2020 so the number could increase.
Also, enough of Chappelle or Owens. Neither one represents black Americans. They're wealthy outliers. Nothing either one has to say has any unique insight or impact on the current state of affairs this country. Chappelle is a has-been trying to be relevant again and Owens is capitalizing on being a big fish in a small pond, the small pond being black conservatism.

No, it works perfectly fine for self defence since the guy would still be dead and I would not be. What happens afterwards is basically entirely not relevant since I'd still be alive and the other person would not be. As to the law itself, legally I am absolved of the need to 'weigh up the pros and cons' in the 'heat of the moment' and I do not have to wait to be attacked in my own home. I can also legally kill another person in my own home if I feel that I am in peril (even if it's demonstrated that I was wrong in hindsight.) so long as I don't disable and then execute the man.
Don't get me wrong it's a shitty and ambiguous and retarded law when it should be 'Man in house when he shouldn't be is fair game.' But it's not really that limiting. There have been only 11 prosecutions of people defending themselves between 1990 and 2011; of those I can actually recall the two big ones off the top of my head, one of them involved a man ambushing the intruder (deemed okay), knocking him out (deemed okay) dragging him into the garden, throwing him in a pit and then setting him on fire (not okay); and one where some pakis let the guy get away, and then beat him until he was retarded at a later date.

Second, "Salish territory"- is this another one of those tribes the land was supposedly stolen from, or something else? Because I could have sworn they were claiming it was "Duwamish" territory before.
Third, it's obvious even from the people championing this little social catastrophe that people are not "respecting the space". Weren't the cops claiming that there were reports of rape and violence, but they couldn't actually get in to help the people being hurt?

I read a short story a while back talking about how things could possibly go, and one of the interesting elements was that, with police being needed but thinly spread, they had to prioritise the most important places to deploy. As civil unrest grows, people higher up, elite, and governmental demand more and more police attention be devoted to their protection, further pulling them away from the populace. It creates a completely different dynamic where only the select are actually protected from the increasing crime rate, since to them, surrounded by their guards, it seems A-okay. Which makes more and more moronic decisions palatable in reducing crime, by outlawing.....criminal actions. That they then ignore. But citizens will hate the new restrictions.
I think we'll see a lot more of that, with gated communities, armed guards at the front, all of it a thin veneer that doesn't hold up to emergency all that well. When your guard has family, they ain't in the gated spot. Who's he going to protect in the riots?
It'll be interesting seeing what legal precedents come out of this. I'll be terrified if they basically allow blackwater/xe/academi to do whatever they want so long as they're 'contracted" and 'engaged in protective actions' while they basically become the black and tans.

I agree but as i said a couple pages ago, I do believe we should start building groups for if shit hits the fan, no inciting shit tho. Honestly, I don't think there is a future away from this shit until there is some civil war of sorts, but it isn't going to be started by one side. I think within the next 10-20 years, if not sooner, we will have some tipping point, like how the revolutionary and civil war had. I don't, I don't think that rising up with guns is the solution. That is literally my entire argument, that without the will to act, guns aren't worth jack. But if you have the will to act, you probably don't actually need the dammed guns, it's the will to use the state, and to use political apparatus, and to act like you have an opposition who is part of a larger nation rather than just worrying about your small area, and policing your small area.

imo its going to hinge on how people take it when these corporations keep trying to push this woke shit especially now that they're trying to control people outside of their work lives. makes me think that there may be a new slew of James Damore style lawsuits waiting in the wings once corporations start rifling through Facebook pages and the like lol.
people are willing to put up with a lot provided you leave their private lives alone but then once you start treading on that, the masses start getting angry. There's a lot boiling under the surface right now, people are just wondering what the hell to do about it especially since Americans don't really have a culture of organized civil disobedience to band us together.
I suspect that once some strong lone wolves start making a lot of noise and breaking away from the pack then we will see more change. It's hard to imagine decades and decades of white people retreating behind gated communities while still sighing sadly as they swipe their corporate IDs to post on Facebook. but I've also been wrong before regarding stuff like that so who knows.
