99.9% of the time it's a suicide. I think the last actual lynching was in the midwest in the 80s. That said shit is crazy enough presently that some accelerationist fucko might actually have lynched the guy. Hope not...

This of course is hyperbole, but the teenage girls seem to think it's essentially 'nigger huntin'' under the blessing of the government.

Black deaths are Schrodinger's controversy, wherein a black death exists in a superstate of both "no big deal" and "outrageous" until the race of the killer is revealed, at which point the controversy-waveform collapses into either "just another unlucky mark" or "symptom of a pervasive and severe problem with American culture and attitudes towards black people"

Pretty sure police have already logged it as a likely suicide. I bet they have some evidence proving that but aren't sharing it out of respect for the dead.

and ironically, the actually pervasive and sever problem and "no big deal" reactions are the inverse of the reality of the problem
