Most FTMs don’t pass. Your brain is still in the instinctive ‘facial hair = male’ view. I live in a liberal area and I am great at clocking FTMs, because I see a lot of them, so I know what to look for. This is also because a majority of them don’t dress like men.

Besides female bone structure and FTM-voice, all of the FTMs on testosterone I've known IRL have developed serious cystic acne problems. Most adult men are past their struggle with acne, so for someone unused to clocking FTMs, it can be a dead giveaway.
