Harry Potter and Pokemon didn't exist in the 80s. The satanic panic went after stuff like hard rock and metal music, Dungeons and Dragons and shit like that. Like 99.9% bullshit, though there are a few cases here and there that are kinda horrifying. I wouldn't say it was completely peaceful, but it was never violent.
@tampax pearl has a point though, the Finders is one of those 0.1% things. FBI declassified a ton of documents like half a year ago or something about it, but be warned, some of that stuff is extremely hard to stomach.

Once, the sources of media information were few, and the narrative could be controlled by those sources.
Now, we have so many sources firing information at us so relentlessly that we can't possibly sift through them all and figure out what the truth is. Most of us will never fact check anything ourselves but will rely on our biases entirely, often from within algorithm-created echo chambers.
Thinking critically is hard and requires humility. The kinds of people making clear criminals into innocent victims are either too caught up in their fart-huffing zealotry to doubt themselves and discern the truth, or they're actively lying with the knowledge that virtually nobody will do the legwork to know they're lying. The Venn diagram section of people who will come away believing whatever makes them feel good and validates their preferred narratives is massive, and that's really all you need to influence things. More than ever before you can lie with impunity and get away with it.

I'm concerned just because it's a carbon copy of the OJ situation. They were so afraid of the riots that would ensue if OJ was found guilty, esp. with Mark Fuhrman, the racist cop, being involved in the case. The riots were fresh on everyone's minds and poisoned the atmosphere. A murderer went free that time, and this time a cop is going to get railroaded.

Speaking about OJ, remember how people want Black Only juries for Black Criminals. Wouldn't that be ineffective in the long run? I mean especially now, since people don't have a lot of respect for Police Officers now. Though with CHAZ, they don't want the judicial system in place at all, yet they demand trials for criminals. Which is probably just the death sentence, in their case.

Man, that 'communal farm' is so fucking pitiful that it's really a meme. That's what happens when you get a bunch of soyboys, trannies, dykes and urban nogs who don't know a god damn thing in one area. Guess the curriculum of their Gender Studies, African Studies or Lesbian Dance Theory degrees must not have covered agriculture. Think about that for a minute. These people are so out of touch and far-removed from the food supply chain that they can't even sustain some of the easiest to grow, hardiest plants that one can find.
There are 90 year old women with floppy hats and little tin watering cans puttering around in their backyard that could cultivate a far better vegetable garden. I could probably throw seeds in my god damn yard and achieve better results than those morons in the CHAZ. They've managed to make me feel sympathy for plants, even.
And what do they think they're going to accomplish? Assuming a few of those plants somehow defy their ineptitude and bear fruit, the harvest will not be anywhere near enough to feed even a family of three. Besides that, you can't live on salad alone for very long. I was talking to a guy visiting from Cleveland the other day and he was ruminating over how boring my town and the area in general were. "Nothing but corn, man" he said.
Yeah, there's a shit-ton of corn because it has to be grown somewhere. Where the fuck do you think it comes from? It doesn't just manifest, and obviously you're not going to be able to grow enough anywhere near the city. Rooftop garden pipe dreams aside, there's absolutely no way you could grow enough of a crop in any city to sustain the population's demand. Even with miles and miles of corn, it's a hard task to keep up with demand from these densely populated metropolitan shitholes. And all of those Bible-thumping gun-toting red ticket voters you fuckers hate so much? They're the ones growing the food, slaughtering beef, driving the trucks and unloading it so it can eventually end up on your plate. Might be wise to remember that, and know that if boring old 'flyover country' decided to turn on you and not ship any produce or meat into your city, they could starve you out in a matter of days and your metropolitan shithole with all of the ethnic food and neat museums would turn into an unrecognizable hellscape overnight essentially. Well, not that they haven't transformed into that already thanks to the people you keep voting in and your leadership mollycoddling a bunch of anarchist fuckwits.
I realize that not all people living in cities/suburbia are stupid, some people live there because they needed decent work and hate commuting, which I can empathize with. But in no small part, these people have no fucking idea how anything works or how to do anything for themselves at all. I guess you don't have to grow some tomatoes or learn to fix a lawnmower when you live on daddy's money and can hire it done.
