The Harry Potter and Pokemon moral panics were a sign that they were getting desperate and were losing power. This was around the same time that Jerry Falwell accused Tinky Winky and Spongebob of being gay.

The really hardcore shit was in the 80's and early 90's, but it was more along the lines of using the courts and the misinformed police departments to fight back. You didn't have the rioting like you do now, but you did have a pre-internet version of cancel culture, complete with forced confessions and media hysteria.

Even the liberal media got in on it, even if it was just for the extra ratings (see Geraldo Rivera and Phil Donahue's coverage of the Satanic Panic) and major companies bent the knee to asinine demands (most infamously Procter & Gamble)

The West Memphis Three trial was considered the peak insanity of the Christian Right and the Satanic Panic and in hindsight, it was the beginning of the end for them and was the moment where the general public began to turn against the Religious Right.

If the BLM coup ends up going completely haywire and backfires, then I'd expect the riots to be the SJW Left's own "West Memphis Three" moment that cripples them in the long run.

People here often mock this comparison by noting the lack of educational and mass media power the religious right had, but just as the left now has "The Cathedral" the right once had the religious institutions.

They put Spongebob and a bunch of other characters against a pride flag backdrop because it's June.

This is nothing more than shallow advertisement and pandering for Pride Month. Until we see a new episode that reveals Spongebob is gay, I'd dismiss this as pandering.

It's no different than if they were putting black characters in ads during February or women in ads during March. Just cheap virtue signalling ads.

With Pride Month, it's even easier since you don't even know a character is gay or not unless the writers make it explicitly clear in canon.

If anything, this is more because Spongebob is the one Nickelodeon cartoon that's still a draw and the only character they have that does fit the Pride Month bill is Korra.

Does anyone know what's going on in this video? Twitter says it's anti-BLM protesters in London fighting with the police, but why would they do that? Aren't they supposed to be on the same side? 🤔
 
The apocalypse better not hit in 2020 if this is the limit of the knowledge our young, healthy folk have on how to grow food.

I garden mostly by force of will and even I know they ain’t growing any tomatoes that way.

edit to add: @Fangsofjeff I see you are not familiar with how organised hooliganism in the UK works. The police are always a favoured target in the absence of any other firm.

Aren’t these antifags addicted to the internet though? I’ve never gardened in my whole life but even I know that putting sheets of cardboard under some random 10x10 ft plot of dirt with Walmart saplings and calling it a garden is absurd. Its going to feed 2 people not a fucking “communist army”. The plants will possibly take months to mature and by then their little charade will be over.

A 5 minute google search could give you better gardening advice than a colony of hundreds of anarchy-commies could come up with.

Gardening is one of those things that takes time patience and basic reading skills thats about it.
There is tips and tricks but just about anyone can grow most basic fruits and veggies. It speaks volumes that these retards couldn't do a community garden.
