Is there a reason that systemic racism is doing all the heavy lifting in these twitter arguments, whilst it seems like structural poverty doesn’t get a look in?

Is that because people can magically decide to not be racist but cannot magically decide not to be poor?

Or because structural poverty affects people across races?

Or did the kids just skip that part of the course?

I don't give a shit what the reason is.

You should probably care when you say that you aren't racist but your heuristic solely involves race and not actually checking the neighborhood's crime rate.

How are you going to be racist but not even own up to it? If you're racist, then that's that, but don't bullshit anyone about it.

If they attempt to fix the problem of structural poverty, their days of playing white savior will be numbered.

The easiest way to either piss people off or make them shut up is to ask them why black-on-black violence isn't addressed in protests but white-on-black violence is.

Fuck google. What they need is a book. And for urban farming there is only 1 book. To bad it's by a evil white male though..

A very good book! I have a copy of that and his answer book! (It's a shame none of the fucking measurements makes any sense to me because we, like all rational countries, use metric.)

tried to look up some of these storiest people are recalling in the speeches, but I can't find anything on the stories, especially the Jesse Serrai (Dunno how its spelled) happened on May 31 2019 by an Officer Nelson from Aldrin? (no state was stated), altercation happened at a Walgreens, and was shot in the store across from it called "Sunshine Grocery". Trying to get facts on the stories, since a lot of stuff seems exaggerated, but who knows.

someone posted this in teh chat for the livestream, dunno where this came from but, I suppose wait and see

The amount of people that have clearly never dealt with a normal, everyday black dude in their lives is amazing. They're basically talking about them as if they're mythological creatures of pure goodness at this point, while thinking the government is Voldemort looking to snuff them out for being just too perfect and good.
I've dealt with, worked with and lived around far too many. Our parents didn't love us and "raised us" in a shitty part of an already dying town. White flight and rapid degentrification replaced all the old retired fucks with a live action cast of "Cops" arrestees before I was even ten.
From then on the instant sight of a black instilled this instant, exhausting dread of learning if they were just going to be typical or some kind of aggravating powerchimp that would be hard to fire or get evicted. When we finally got rid of the house it was like Detroit there and I've been told it is still, but now with meddling dangerhairs and fags moving in to prove how woke they are.

A cutie from my 7th grade became the defacto leader of the neighborhood Karen team, and must have got hit with some kind of dyke transformation ray and if I had just met her I'd swear she was trans.

It's not a fear of blacks, just a weariness and aversion to them.
It's just a reality I've dealt with forever.

It's their ace in the hole for when they can't find enough actual, literal examples of racism to suggest that it's a widespread problem.

"Systemic Racism" implies a subtler form of racism that can't be measured in recordable comments, videos, or visual evidence- it's in things like statistics and attitudes, which are ridiculously easy to manipulate to your liking.

For example, let's say the claim is "Black children don't achieve as well as white children in school." Dogmatic believers in systemic racism will say it's because district policies are inherently unfair to black children; in reality there are probably multiple factors in why this is happening, and racism may very well have nothing to do with it.

Basically it's a trump card to pull out when they don't have as much evidence as they would like on their side.

Anyone else feel this is the death throes of the modern SJW/Radical Left movement? Normal people are getting really sick of this shit and it's really starting to show.

It really seems like it, as from a historical perspective this is the kind of thing which denotes the climax of a movements power, with over reach and tyranny. However, too many people in here are doomers, so I don't think they'll agree with you.
