In defense of Druckman, just because you made one huge infamous bomb that took out a whole city, doesn't mean it's the end of the world

The people who made Bubsy 3D kept at it and went on to make Days Gone. I mean I guess that's a silver lining on why learning from your mistakes are important? I dunno I wonder if people will try to get Amy to come back since her arch nemsis blew himself up.

C'mon people are paying 60 dollars to play a Tranny and you leave out the signature move. You make a big deal about dog deaths but what about trying to either save or taunt people from suicide and getting specifically rewarded if you're able to save them or have them kill themselves. Like if you save all of them you get a special reward at the end like Bioshock, but if you make them faceplant you get all their cool gear right away instead.

At least Bubsy was fun to make fun of and find ridiculous glitches in, can't say the same for Days Gone. If you had said Syphon Filter I might have agreed. Also Druckmann isn't the type to actually learn from his mistakes, he'll probably just make excuses.

I'm watching the latest leak and for some reason I can't stop laughing at the part where Ellie says: "I don't want to hear what that bigot has say"; the line combined with the delivery just sounded so funny to me. Also, the 5 minutes conversation before this about Jesse and Ellie liking the same girl is pretty cringe too, almost seems like they really want to reinforce Eliie's sexual preference right off the bat.
 
The commenters fantasizing about "da h8ters" killing themselves over game reviews definitely are the kind of sane individuals I expected to gravitate towards such an edgy movie.

Rate me MATI but I was looking forward to this coming out, I am genuinely one of those sad speds that loves the Naughty Dog 'Uncharted' game formula. I even liked fucking Lost Legacy but that doesn't mean I make my existence about them. And I will admit this is a fucking trashfire from a narrative standpoint. Brace yourselves fellow Kiwis I'll be doing my review once I get and finish the game, because since my existence is already pain what's a little more misery added to the pile?

Sorry, you don't make pretentious piles of crap that are ego driven vanity projects and learn from your mistakes. You just don't. I've said it in this thread, this isn't a game for you or for me or for anyone else here. Its for Druckman himself. Sony spent 100 million on one man's vanity project. People like that don't learn from their errors. He is going to view it as the audience being wrong, not anything he did.

When you are missing basic bitch story points like I mentioned before, its because you are purposefully ignoring them. You can't miss these points, its utterly impossible. You would have to be literally autistic to not know this, an Druckman, for everything he is, is not autistic. He knows this will hate fuck the audience. He didn't make it with an audience perspective in mind. He made it for him.

You don't come back with hits from this. I'd never purchase a project from him, because you're basically buying a Neil Breen film. Except it doesn't have the fever dream charm of it, its just made by a cunt and you have to pay for the privilege of it.

That aside, Ghosts looks like a far superior game. Stealth Samurai violently murdering invading barbarians to save your people vs. Unfun cunt's vanity project misery simulator. THIS IS A HARD CHOICE TO PURCHASE, WHICHEVER WILL I BUY

The difference between Druckman and No Man's Sky, is that the guy who did 'No Man's Sky' was an awkward nerd who was completely unprepared for the publicity fostered upon him and didn't really know how to handle it. They also had their office get flooded and lost a ton of data, so acts of God came into the equation, not like Druckman who became so hated by industry animators he had to outsource to Hollywood ones. Murray himself kept over promising and over hyping to the result that when No Man's Sky came out it was a mess. The thing is, Sean Murray WANTED to deliver a fun, engaging, immersive experience for the player. Druckman does not. He does not believe in his audience or pleasing them. He literally doesn't want to give fun experiences. Murray came off as a dick because he was awkward and was never meant for PR. No Man's Sky was also done by an indie studio, not a AAA powerhouse and it was basically their first big game.

A more apt comparison is Druckman is like a shitty John Romero. He blew all of his company's money on his pathetic vanity project that nobody liked, got himself blacklisted for his ridiculous arrogance and expense, and is now just doing phone games. Druckman will be churning out sub-par indie shit after this game. You'd have to be insane to give this idiot money after this.
