Yeah, really fucking strict:

(It's Omega Labyrinth Life if you want to know, you degenerates. It's censosed on PS4 but the Switch and PC version are as you can see above.)

I rest my case.

BTW, how much are you willing to bet Alex owns both those games?
Damn, I knew I should have gotten a Switch.

They're not strict concerning quality, granted, but developers who have no previous console development experience like Eva will have a hard time getting a dev kit, for example.
First time devs usually get dev kit through publisher contacts with Nintendo.
Having tinybuild behind his back would help Alex if he wanted to port a game.

Alex troons out and becomes Anne (Frank)

Alex clearly has a chronic compulsion to try and justify his actions. He's a public figure, willingly or not, and when a public figure feels the need to constantly respond to criticism (which especially in Alex's case usually ends up making him look worse), or censor it when he doesn't, it just leads to a downward spiral for his reputation the more he does it. With the cavernous hole Alex dug for himself it would be a miracle for him to turn that around with Hate and Shame 2, especially because he's prone to strawmanning arguements like he did with Hate and Shame, or avoiding the real criticisms, such as his attempt to address his work ethic with "Why are you playing video games instead of working?".
For the latter video, he makes out as if people expect him to always be working. But the question never was whether Alex was allowed to stream when he wasn't working, but whether he actually does any productive work when he's meant to be working. The video for reference:

that video makes me smile every time. you can tell the accusation makes him so angry a cartoon kettle is probably whistling out his ears irl.

Of course he will. It's because he always blames something or someone else that it's hard to sympathise with Alex because his whole track record is explaining away his lack of productivity for some reason other than himself, nowadays it's harrassment. Not to mention the evidence to suggest that he doesn't work nearly as hard as he claims, and with how willing he is to let complete strangers know that he's cripplingly depressed on his Discord, Discord DMs, and on his own development blog - usually completely unwarranted, the harrassment excuse feels emotionally manipulative and disingenuous.

The only way I can see him building his reputation back up is to simply change his own behaviour for the better. I feel it would be best for him to go radio silent for a while, knuckle down, and stop streaming. But he doesn't seem to see anything wrong with his behaviour (not for a lack of people trying to tell him), so keeps doing it. And if past testimonials are anything to go by, he still acts like he did in his 20s; the socially inept degenerate young adult with an addiction to anime and video games - yet ironically is astronomically bad at them, and over-uses the ban button.

People only dug up the mountain of evidence of Alex's past and present mis-deeds only because he built himself up such a reputation over the years. If he didn't have so many screws loose people wouldn't give a shit about him and everything would be hunky-dory. When he responds to criticisms regarding his past behaviour, he either provides his own versions of events without any counter-evidence, or dismisses it in a way that doesn't seem like he learned from it in any meaningful way. He didn't even provide receipts of the conversation that went down with "N" about the sex license, so he could manipulate that story any way he wanted to.
His parents fucked up with deciding to home school him, I reckon. Rightly or wrongly, school toughens you up and exposes you to some of the realities of life. Like there will be times when people criticise you and you learn to develop a thick skin.

He clearly hasn't got a thick skin and puts his inability to cope with criticism on full display for us all to see.

His parents fucked up
You could stop just there. Homeschooling has a lot of downsides, but I wouldn't consider it a death sentence. Many cows, who share the same infantile behavior with Alex, were visiting regular schools, but it didn't help them at all. It has more to do with upbringing, how his parents taught him to deal with failure and self-reflect on his mistakes, if they even tried, of course.

Homeschooling only works if you take that extra time it gives you into providing meaningful socialization for your kid. There are groups where homeschooling parents will connect together to plan 'field trips' and 'school meetups' so their kids aren't just doing their homework then sitting at home. It helps to fill that socialization and let the kid see the outside world.

Alex strikes me as someone who did not have these opportunities and a lot of that does fall on his parents.

Exactly my sentiments.

You learn how to fit into a team and work with others. I don't think he's ever had to.

That hardly matters, if you look at his interactions with his parents, like when he wrote "I want to kill my dad, because he insists on putting me into college" or how he sperged when his mother cut the steak for his little nephew, but not for him. It's obvious that he hasn't been hearing "no" in that house very often.

Dunno if this'll be marked :late:, but I wonder if anyone still has the code from rmon-vfer's Github repo.
If so, could they upload it on this thread for the rest of us me to download it and take a look?

I had it saved at one point, but ended up deleting it. Fortunately, Alex can't seem to keep the disassemblies off of GitHub. This is a disassembly of the 15 May, 2020 build. I've also attached a zip archive of the repository in case Alex hits it with a DMCA.
