U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

fists are also non lethal, doesnt mean you cant kill someone with your fists
same for shit like pepper spray, rubber bullets, batons, etc
nobody (not even cops) can be expected to just sit back and do nothing while subjected to an illegal attack by someone else. if somebody comes at you with fists, you can shoot the person to stop the attack. that's what self defense is all about.
the key here is "illegal attack". a cop putting you in cuffs is not illegal, you punching the cop in the face for trying to cuff you is illegal.
a cop tazering you to stop you from acting out isn't illegal, you tazering the cop while trying to run away from him is illegal.

"but cops used taser first"
the key difference here is that cops hava a right (and duty) to use force on perps to achieve compliance. perps do NOT have a right to use force on cops to escape arrest.
I agree but sadly people who refuse to follow the law are not criminals anymore, they're freedom fighters, according to the far left Antifag brigade.

The police have been militarized and tended to go out of control. No one remembers Justin Volpe, not even the protesters. Our politicians have passed law after law in an effort to remain relevant, criminalizing behavior that really isn't criminal. Reform is desperately needed but the call now is to abolish police altogether. It's sad and a sign that society is starting to break down as it returns to mob rule.

Counterpoint: This was an authorized restraint technique, it's very common, and I don't think anyone anywhere in the world has ever died because of it. (If there were other cases, we'd probably have heard about them by now.) It wasn't risky at all, he was trained in its application, and he was doing it correctly.
There was a white guy who died of it in 2016. I think his name was Paul Timber or something. But he was white so no one cared.

So, three black men and one black woman.

Regarding the CHAZ court or whatever, it's hard to know what is real and what is satire.

I do not know what to believe anymore. I think the second one is fake.
Someone send help, my sides can't take this much punishment. "Abolish police and the justice system! Now, let us make a purely advisory council (that will eventually have the power to create binding resolutions and enforce them), and make it so that a quarter to half of it is comprised of convicted violent criminals."

And I do believe that the second one can be true. They operate on the logic that merit is bad and -ist/-phobe, and that every (non-white, non-male, and non-straight-except-maybe-if-you're-a-woman) voice must be heard and represented, so every time that someone in some minor subcategory of human complains about a lack of representation, they must be added to the council. What was supposed to be a couple of people giving advice for minor conflicts has become a grand jury on steroids that also happens to be the judge.

On a torrent site I frequent. Some uploader asked people to donate to the NAACP or California Immigrant Resilience Fund in the description if they enjoyed the contents of that upload. The NAACP link is to ActBlue. ffs, just let me enjoy my torrents in peace. I don't need this shit creeping into that too.

I'm not gonna rock the boat by calling out this person because the site is pretty peaceful reagardless. Its a small tracker already.

Considering it mirros happened with the Bolsheviks and any other commie revolt, I hope it's satire and pointing out how insane all this is.
"The Russian monarchy and police system are corrupt and must be replaced! Instead we'll make a council of people who are friends with our leader who he can appoint or dismiss (lethally) at will and to enforce it will be our friends we directly select."

At this point, i think it's just easier on places to pay lip service to these fucking nigger faggots and faggot niggers.

On several sites I frequent the first thing I'm met with are banners talking about donating to BLM and related. Games sites and shit. It's like, give me a fucking break.

I seen that too. I saw it on Indeed last night. A fucking job listing site.

Luckly, the torrent site is pretty apolitical. Hopefully it stays that way.

So I’m now pretty sure that a lot of this insanity has just been influencers and bored people having a moment. I’m seeing the truly woke on my timeline start to post bitching about no one caring anymore. The narrative has moved on and so has most of the action here in the states.

The discussion I hear for riot justification is that "Black people built this country, we should burn it down."

So if your landlord is beefing with a tenant, they should burn the property down? I don't get that logic.

Plus, if you built something, why burn it? That's like cutting off your nose to spite somebody.
Because they think the white man stole it, and if they can't have it no-one can!

Sam Harris had an ultimately pretty good podcast a few days ago where he approached these stats and refused to back down from the truth of them. (After like half an hour of "I'm not a racist" and "I'm a true and honest leftie" qualification, naturally.)

Sam Harris frustrates me to no end with his TDS because I like him otherwise. Of course, he doesn't have free will so I can't really blame him.

All right, so here in NY:

I was gonna say it sounds like you're a bit out of touch but then you kind of admitted you're out in Suffolk so it goes without say. Considering I'm actually based in NYC, as in the 5 boroughs, some things you say don't quite line up.

1. The Dems have lost basically every major labor union in NYC by allowing and encouraging the riots. This was one of the biggest financial backers of the Dems regionally, and they lost them.

Being an entertainer I have a lot of friends in Local 1 Stagehands and they're still pushing for blue. My buddy in Verizon said he is still getting messages from the Verizon union to vote blue. Another buddy of mine in the Masonry union and does most of the work at Javits said they're still saying to vote blue. Until I hear otherwise from people actually in unions in NYC, I'm going to go ahead and believe the unions still support this bullshit.

2. Transit companies are now refusing to do deliveries or head through NYC and increasingly shipping to/from Long Island is happening via boat.
Lol where did this one come from? Sounds like no one wants to drive all the fuck out to Suffolk is what it sounds like. All my friends who own stores here in the 5 boroughs are getting deliveries just fine. No one likes driving out to Suffolk because it's fucking far and goes nowhere. You drive all the way out there, then you have to turn around and drive all the way back. All my truck driving buddies hate driving to Suffolk and it's only been lessened in recent years because Suffolk finally smartened up and put a rest stop on the ass end of the LIE so that truck drivers could finally stop to get gas and buy a snack without having to take their rig off the highway and drive through local streets.

3. The police just got defunded by about 24% in NYC, which means the fact that Nassau cops make a pittance compared to their Suffolk counterparts just got much worse. If you think that anyone remotely involved with Law enforcement will back any establishment democrat in this lifetime after this, you're fucking insane.
Where are you even getting these numbers? Nothing has been decided but things have been proposed. Here's an article from yesterday:

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Members of the New York City Council announced that they believe they can cut $1 billion in NYPD spending in the 2021 fiscal budget. ... "The mayor has said we're committed to reprioritizing funding and looking for savings, but he does not believe a $1 billion cut is the way to maintain safety," said Mayor de Blasio spokesperson, Freddi Goldstein.

They're still arguing on actually cutting anything so I'm not sure where you got the 24% number and that it's actually happened. Unless that's long island politics which is it's own thing.

4. NYC already had countless residents flee the city over the COVID lockdowns. It then had a massive number of people flee the city over the riots. This was after all the other shit that happened during the lead-up to 2020. There was already billions in budgetary shortfall for NYC, and there is no way on God's green earth that the city won't go bankrupt from this.

Massive number of residents flee the city over the riots? Dude are you just making up shit right now to try and get internet stickers?! Maybe they're fleeing suffolk, but who doesn't given the chance? True people left over Covid, but most of them were wealthy business people who fled out to the hamptons to hide in summer rentals, and hipsters who all ran back to their parent's houses in their flyover states. Most of NYC are actual born and bred NYC citizens like myself, who did flee anywhere because we have nowhere else to go, and working class immigrants who didn't flee for the same reasons. As far as fleeing over the riots? I haven't heard of anyone fleeing. I've been here almost 50 years and know tons of people, especially in entertainment where I make my living and as far as I can tell, everyone's still here.

On top of that, NYC might be a blue state but not every borough is blue. You probably haven't noticed but in the 5 borough the rioting and destruction has been contained to mostly Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx. Extremely blue and liberal areas - especially brooklyn between it's poor black neighborhoods and gentrified kale loving hipster neighborhoods. Queens has a lot of areas that lean to the right (my neighborhood actually has Trump 2020 flags hanging from telephone poles) and Staten Island, which is virtually all red. I'm in Queens and haven't seen a single thing related to this bullshit - no BLM posters or flags, no marching, no rioting. I've been watching Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx get shit on by these thugs from my house while I sit in my yard enjoying the weather.

Also - news flash - the city was pretty much bankrupt before all this happened. That's why so many people were saying Cuomo was working overtime to fuck the city's economy with the ultra restrictive covid lockdown, so he could claim that the bankruptcy came from covid and try to get federal funds to save the city.

5. Everyone hates the fucking lockdowns and hates the rioters even more.

I'll give you the lockdowns. People are more mad over the lockdowns than the rioters though because most people are furious about Cuomo and de Blasio's needless restrictions and how he's trying to tank our economy for federal funds. The majority of stuff I see on my facebook feed from all my NYC friends tends to follow the demographics of the boroughs. Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx are all like "I can't believe this is happening here" - Brooklyn is especially cucked with the "this is just stuff and it's not more important than black lives" bullshit. And Queens and Staten Island people, again who lean mostly right, are the ones saying, "Will someone shoot these animals already?"

6. Suffolk will not bail Nassau out, and will not tolerate the bullshit like NYC would. Suffolk's cops are financed and trained locally, so don't worry about us, we've got our own towns east of the shithead zone relatively secure.

Ahahahaahahaha everyone talks about how detached from reality people out in Suffolk are because of how backwater it is and this is a perfect example. Last I checked, protestors tried to enter Nassau via Merrick blvd and were turned back by residents and police and forced to turn around and leave. Meanwhile you guys out in suffolk had a shitshow with that massive BLM protest march down main street in Smithtown. And that's probably as far east as they'll go anyway. I mean what's really further out in Suffolk? Mastic? Shirley? Those are like if trailer parks were towns. Wyandanch? That's like Suffolk's version of Detroit. Everything there is already destroyed anyway. Suffolk is like backwater Tennessee - it's a long stretch of nothing that we have to drive through to get to the hamptons and montauk.

I mean, I don't expect you to actually know what goes on in the 5 boroughs - to Suffolk people Nassau is "the city". The 5 boroughs is like Oz. It's the land whispered about but none of you actually dare to travel that far.

I can't believe you wrote all this bullshit to get internet stickers and didn't think for a moment that there were other New Yorkers, actual ones, here on the farms who'd call you on it.

The future won't be that bad. For those of us in the first world it will be pretty darn good.

But it is never going to be as good as it was; because people couldn't handle the realities of living in this universe.

*sigh*
There's still a lot of anti-far left/anti-communist sentiment out there. I guess no matter what happens, whether this just stays some morons on the internet or becomes a full, hard shift left gov-wise, there'll always be people out there who won't be down with it. There's never been a single time in any communist regime's history that there's not been people fighting back against it. Poland's "cursed soldiers", something like 300 guys who opposed the whole Soviet Polish regime until the 1960s and remained a problem for them the whole time, for example. Not making some retarded "rise up" thing here, it's just nice to believe that people the likes of Antifa or BLM whether they're in government or not will never have uncontested power, ever.

In regards to Nick Fuentes when I'm looking for political commentary getting it from a super in the closeted dude who's never been in a vagina in his life but chases after crossdressing streamers is the first place I'd go.
It amazes me at how some people are only able to think in, and reply with, memes. "I am unable to provide any insight on the topic or apply rational thought to information I have encountered, I just kneejerk reply with meme." Like with 'Orang manbad Hitler' or 'Faux News', some people are preprogrammed to reply only with memes, never to actually think about anything. The effects that those kind of thought-terminating devices have on someone is terrifying, preventing that person from being able to analyze information about others, and maybe even preventing insight into themselves as well, keeping them cozy in their unthinking zealotry.

The thing that surprises me is how swiftly memes against Nick Fuentes were deployed once he blindsided that Israeli conservative grifter organization by injecting the attempted false flag on the USS Liberty into the mainstream. All of sudden their arose an entire industry dedicated to him, one that spams about him constantly in some places, with an unusual level of raging butthurt for someone so seemingly innocuous and inconsequential. To this day people still unthinkingly with 'lol catboy' when they see his name, not giving any thought to the context, his actions, or to anything at all, really.

Anyway, do you think you might have anything relevant to add? Anything at all? If not just reply with a cat meme or something, at least be amusing if you're unable to be insightful (my philosophy in nutshell).
