"we may have been waiting 6 fucking years for a single rival but hey the body pillows are back"

How the fuck do people support this guy? I'm really wondering that at this point Annotation 2020-06-15 120147.png

My guess is that the ones who still support him are:
*hardcore fans who, in their eyes, Alex can do no wrong. And in my experience, will willingly ignore the evidence suggesting anything is amiss and echo what Alex tells them. From the few I spoke to they struck me as being pretty young, and when you're young and stubborn it's like talking to a brick wall.
*are new and are yet unaware of how long the project's gone on for, or are unaware that 6 years isn't an acceptable timeframe for this type of game to still be in its earliest stages while earning money because the developer keeps padding the game out with irrelevant shit.

Perhaps a mixture of the above?

But people are evidently becoming increasingly more aware of the drama and what is considered acceptable behaviour. I've not checked recently but whenever I peeked into his Discord, getting banned for shitty reasons was a common occurence, and the moderators encouraged people to move along. If anyone were to speak up about it they would get banned themselves. I once witnessed a user get banned for posting screenshots of their mod of the game despite there being no rule against posting screenshots of mods, unless their rule "Do not post screenshots or videos of content that you are not supposed to have access to (Osana gameplay, content accessed with asset-ripping tools, etc.) " applied, but it doesn't mention modding. I refuse to believe that his own community can't be completely oblivious.

Although Alex is still earning a substantial amount, it's far lower than it used to be. It's still far too high for no end result, though.

Short weapons (like knives) can be concealed, so that the player can transport weapons in secrecy. However, long weapons (like baseball bats) cannot be concealed. For years, this meant that long weapons were objectively inferior to short weapons, and that there was no reason to use long weapons.

To give the player incentive to use more than one weapon type, long weapons were given an advantage; victims killed by a long weapon would not leave blood pools. However, this made long weapons too overpowered; it removed all incentive to use short weapons.

To balance the advantages/disadvantages of both weapon times, non-concealable weapons are now 5x more suspicious than concealable weapons; this means that students will notice you carrying long weapons and become alarmed 5x as quickly. This means that the player needs to be very careful and stealthy when carrying around a long weapon, or else their reputation will get annihilated quickly.
I love this part of the update because it means it's now considered more suspicious to carry around a baseball bat than it is to carry around a sharp knife. :story:

Unless you're a literal delinquent of course. Not only is it not suspicious to carry around a fucking crowbar, but the counselor's dialogue strongly implies they have her blessing to do so. This would almost make sense if Akademi was ghetto as fuck, but isn't it supposed to be a prestigious high school? I guess consistent worldbuilding isn't part of Alex' "vision".

When alex is not being dull on streams he spews cringy and kinda awful shit...
Also 0:43 is apperently what he wants from female partner.
Do I understand this correctly and this is just from one of his streams? Jesus Christ, Alex, children watch your streams, good choice of topics - tits, sex and self-pity.
Also, I love how he talks about developers of Valhalla and how they had problems with their fans(is it true though?), but in the end made their game and it was awesome. Shame, he doesn't mention how many videos and posts about gremlins they spewed before this, but it extra funny how he is talking about this, while doing the opposite of game qdevelopment.

New build released, still no Osana. Of note, Alex has no idea what he did but claims he managed to improve average FPS by about 10% by tweaking the school environment. NPCs remain a clusterfuck.
Archive, Original.

This fucking jew promised his brain-dead fans that last month's update was the final update before Osana releases.

Then he wants to scrap all the code he spent 6 years festering over? Congrats dude, you're now 0% close to releasing your game

I've seen many people saying "Well of course the code looks bad, it's decompiled!" That is true, however that only makes up for some things, the structure of the code is usually untouched. The only thing I've seen so far though that sticks out as a decompiling artifact is
Code:
if(!false){...
Late reply because I haven't checked the thread in a while, but while there won't be differences in the structure/layout of structs and classes, there can absolutely be differences in methods - small switch statements are compiled into if-else for perf, large if-else might be incorrectly decompiled and include gotos when none were in the original code, small methods might be inlined, etc. Obviously the code is shit, it just pains me to see people smugly point out the things that effectively don't matter like a couple of small if-else statements in the decompiler output where a switch would be more readable instead of the unsustainable architecture.
