Who is that lady at 1:29?
who.png

I'm not convinced that's a lady.

Most likely that lady is an executive or supervisor of some sort. They're the ones who get interviewed the most before cartoons come out.

Anyway the full animatic for the first episode got leaked. I'm not crazy about the voices at all but the writing and what little animation was seen is good so far.
I like that they're going to make the devil re-occur. A fun main villain that sticks around and doesn't get redeemed or killed too fast was something I missed.

So speaking of the cuphead show, a twitter user claimed that one of the show supervisor was drunk and attempted to rape her back 2012 and with absolutely no evidence to back it up and needless to say, people are eating it up( I don't want to doubt it but evidence is king(

I'm a bit scared to be frank. Its also looking more like some Spumco shit than a Fleischer ode...

Does everyone in a creative field these days have to look as though they fell head first into a cotton candy machine? I know that cartoonists tend to have a wild reputation all the way back to the Disney Animator Drunken Orgy Days, but they tended to look somewhat dignified, no different from anyone in any other profession. The day that artists decided that piercings and hair color were a good substitute for a personality was the day a part of our culture died.

For people who fear the RWDS and Trump throwing them into prison camps, they sure do go out of their way to make themselves easily identifiable.

I remember hearing about this a while ago. Then I heard nothing more about it and assumed it was cancelled or was never bound to get past the stage of being an idea. Is this really still happening?

Remember, a Cuphead DLC is coming soon too. My guess is they're saving the cartoon premiere to release with the DLC. Double the content. Double the relevancy. Whether or not any of it will be good is yet to be seen.

I honestly thought this was cancelled.
Lol that's because they can't afford not putting effort and actual talent into this adaptation rather than going for the basic corporate style we're so used to seeing in cartoons.

I'm actually fairly sure if it was done in the SU style the show would immediately tank regardless of how well the characters and plot is written and the Cuphead fandom would start a riot.

EDIT: Whoopsie doopsie! Seems I quoted the wrong person. You may now all point and laugh at me while calling me a retard.

Its weird seeing Cuphead with limited computer animation. It makes everything look "off" because flowy and bouncy movements are a big part of the homage the game was making to 30s animation.

Also, King Dice's character model is all fucked up.

It looks ok for what it is, though i admit the loss of the hand drawn animation the game was famous for is a shame. Still at least its a unique style that's trying to stay true to its source material and they didn't just calarts the thing to look like every other western cartoon.

Not too excited for this one, i learned never get your hopes up in current year. Still might check it out when I can.
