I see this a lot so I figured I'd weigh in with my own understanding; for a lot of asexuals it's more a matter of not wanting to have sex with another person involved. Masturbation is fine for most since it's a singular, private and personal activity, and some might still experience some degree of sexual attraction (hence what grey-aces supposedly are) but for most full-blown asexuals it's just a matter of not wanting to fuck someone else.

Some asexuals will have sex if there's another goal or motivation in mind (partner's preferences if they're dating to keep them happy, trying to have a kid, etc.), just that sex by itself for pleasure isn't a motivating factor on it's own. And, of course, there are some asexuals who have absolutely no sexual interest at all whatsoever in anything, although they seem to be a much rarer category.

Some people do use asexuality as a sort of shield to protect themselves from feeling rejected, I agree. But many more asexuals just legitimately don't feel comfortable being sexually intimate with others, and whether or not it's a confidence issue or just a preference is certainly up for debate.

Personally, I'd still recommend that people who think they are asexual maybe talk to a medical professional beforehand; there are a lot of health conditions (often hormonal) that can cause sexual interest to plummet dramatically. If you are someone who was sexually active and enjoyed your experience only to completely lose any interest then there could be something up. But there are also people who genuinely just don't like sex at all, even those who have tried it with multiple partners, like how there are people who genuinely don't like anything (trauma response or personal preference may or may not be a factor), but it's better to know if it might be an indication of an underlying health issue or not.

It might be worth mentioning but if you use that Discord Chat Exporter (https://github.com/Tyrrrz/DiscordChatExporter) on a server, it shows ALL the channels in the server rather than just the ones you have access to. It only allows you to archive channels you have access to though. Might be worth using if anyone wanted to see if any of these servers have hidden channels.

Even as a furry I refuse to get close to other furries. Like I deleted my FA after the Kero Incident. I like the art and everything but I do not what to get into a group and find out someones fucking dogs or kids or both.

The shit with diapers is a hard no from me, sounds like the front page to deviantart.

It is usually good to keep a distance from online groups anyway, but just because some weirdos mess up that shouldn't affect your enjoyment of cartoon animal people.

In fact it's a special kind of hell because it prolongs high school as long as you are really into the social aspect of it.
Especially when the most social people are people who were possibly bullied themselves and they are now having the time of their life stepping on others.

People should try putting their eggs into multiple baskets. There is nothing bad with wanting to screw Minerva Mink (maybe carrot from One Piece is okay too, but that makes you a weeb.) , but at least have multiple identities and/or friend groups with different interests. If you are not forced only to have one group and name as your only social outlet you will feel less weak and forced to suck up to assholes.

Exactly. Expand your dong interests. Don't just stick to one online friend group or site. If your friend group gets upset you like to hang out with other people on the side, there might be some weirdo toxic shit going on they don't want to get out; at best they're clingy and cliquey in an unhealthy way and the circle is likely to collapse into drama if some of them start dating around with one another. At worst they might get culty and controlling and that's tough to buck.

There are quite literally billions of people on the internet; I'm absolutely certain that unless you're a pedophile or an animal torturer (and if the zoosadism thread is anything to go by, even if you ARE one of these freaks) you can probably find more than one friend group with similar interests and hobbies.

Don't get trapped in friend circles that inevitably become five people maximum, at least two of which are probably sock puppets.
