So my circle is in support of (removing?) Section 230 in order to spite Twitter and its users. I want to call them out on it but I don't have all the info. I have a very vague idea of what that means but if Null hates it so much that it makes him pissed off at Trump, it can't be good.

Basically, repealing 230 would mean that websites would be responsible for what is on their site. That doesn't sound bad, but when you have social media like Facebook, Twitter, internet forums (like Kiwi Farms), Instagram, etc... where users can post stuff, that means that if one of the users posts something illegal, the website would be liable. So the forums/social media would need to either approve everything that gets posted or just shut down to avoid liability.
It would likely be the death of internet forums and social media entirely.

So I posted this in an A&N thread already but it goes well here, too. Anyway, they're already lining up outside the BOK center in Tulsa for the rally on Saturday. COVID numbers are spiking here already (though deaths have remained pretty low for now) and hospitalizations have gone up. I'm not a COVID doomer but I'm expecting a lot of old and fat people at this rally, and this disease is known to hate boomers and fatties.
