Diseased Neo-Pagans / Witches on the Internet / Witchblr - SMT IRL, but with fatties

The watered-down/super uwu/crystal magic versions of witchcraft we have these days, is also a direct result of a the Satanic Panic; in that the writers of the books/shows this shit started with had to make it inoffensive as fuck, so as not to be blackballed off bookshelves or the air, by the rampaging religious right in the 80's & 90's.
How many of them know about the Frost’s “‘Good Witch’s’ Bible” of incest and hebephilia? I’m willing to bet some Wokesters would defend it because LGBTQPI+ rights. They also never bring up that modern pagan witchcraft actually didn’t develop out of Satanic writings in the 17th to 19th centuries. Their “Horned God” was literally just a censored version of Satan. Even in Margaret Murray’s witch cult the witches were sacrificing children.

There actually have been/are folk Christians* who practice magic but they would never call themselves witches or what they do witchcraft and they certainly wouldn’t pray to/invoke pagan gods. That black powah witch can’t practice hoodooh because it’s folk Christianity. She’s stealing (black American) Christian culture. Witches tend to appropriate others’ magical traditions and call it witchcraft and then virtue signal about cultural appropriation.

Outside of the Western world “witchcraft” means negative/harmful or evil magic. Even in the West witchcraft didn’t gain a positive meaning until ignorant Romantic era writers incorrectly said that accused witches were all folk doctors and midwives. They wouldn’t call their village healer a witch/warlock unless the healer had been trying to poison them or sending evil spirits after them. Of course in Africa it’s the “healers” that often get people torturemurdered for witchcraft and practice the black arts, such as chopping up albinos for “medicine”.

*I’m not agreeing with it or saying it’s biblical but it exists.

I feel like the Grim Reaper
My boss would like to have a word with her. She has a very outdated and surface level understanding of death, and what she wrote about is what every human who develops relationships goes through. Death happens, and nothing she mentioned sounds like some sort of precognition in regards to her family. Death happening around you doesn't make you the Reaper.

For real this reads as selfish. She was there to say goodbye to the people who were dying in her life. Not everyone gets that chance at closure and for her to hold it like its some sort of cursed power that she dislikes to me is... somewhat ignorant.

You ever wonder if white girls now will LARP online as PoC to be able to put down other white women and also have more credibility in woke spaces? The first poster gives me those vibes.

It looks like that blood chick tried to get the vibes off the colors of the profile pictures and went with it.

I... know things.

It causes my anxiety to be off the charts.

I got the call at 4:30

If you're always anxiously anticipating shit, you'll always find some event to fulfill your "prophecy". It's called the observer-expectancy effect.

A.k.a. "congratulations, you played yourself"

I feel like a Witness, destined to stand in the shadows and watch loved ones cross to the other side. I feel like the Grim Reaper.

Why does she think this is special? Almost everyone older than you, and some of your peers/youths will die before you. Being around someone (as aforementioned by someone else) is a blessing to say goodbye. Everyone who lives experiences death, probably many times and in many ways before dying themselves. It's not special. It's just reality.

Sure, it's fun to LARP as some kind of angel of death, but FFS don't fool yourself into thinking it's unusual or special.

Anyways, I was beaten to the "what does my blood taste like" posts, but I have some additional lunacy to add.

In searching to understand what all these terms mean, what I got was not at all helpful.

Why would I go to places that are inhabited by indigenous people? The point is to go to where there's no one around. I live to where countryside is easy to travel to and I have never once seen a tribe. And is the point of cottagecore not to be "pure and wholesome?" What is this person on about?

Well, you see, the logic is that the indigenous people aren't really people. They're like animals: part of nature. So they don't count when they set up their own forms of civilizations. True Cottagecore understands this. Only colonisers are real people.

(They never do think to take their own logic to its natural end to realize how awful it truly is, do they?)

I think a lot of people find this stuff appealing because it's a power fantasy, or a way to cope with a loss of control. Perform a ritual, and it feels like you've done your part to aid a cause that, realistically, you can't really do anything about.

More than once I've said Woke Wiccans are the neurotic White female's answer to the Ghost Dance.

The main difference between the two, of course, is that Native Americans really did lose control of a whole way of life, and become genuine victims of genuine atrocities. People like these idiots are just drama-mongering narcissists.

You ever wonder if white girls now will LARP online as PoC to be able to put down other white women and also have more credibility in woke spaces?
What do you think transtrenders do to feminists?

To be honest cottagecore is conceptually pretty cute, but it's overrun by queer commie urbanites that think every white person who likes the idea of living in a cottage is a colonizer who hates natives because they think everywhere in the world is the United States. It's pretty much what sunflower art hoe tumblr evolved into.

Do JO crystals count as magic?

Given all the menstrual stuff probably.

On the eve of the war, Anon asks if witcract is as LGBT+ exclusionary as other religions. The answer may surprise you:

Unfortunately I couldn't find any "Judge for yourself" picks. Someone with more willpower can scrub her websites, she looks like she could be a thread all on her own.
I unboomered my twitter knowledge and found some selfies. 50% black Primrose, everyone!

If I had to guess her racial makeup by her pictures, I would say she's 65% hispanic, 30% white, and maybe only 5% black. She looks way too light-skinned to be "half-black" and I think anybody would get that confused. Even the art of her in her avatar is very pale and doesn't look black at all. (But I guess albinoism is a thing, so I could be wrong. Still, my point still stands.)

Spoiler: Fuck with me and you fuck with the gods!

If this isn't someone trolling, then this is one of the funniest things to come out of witchblr yet.
