The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Jannies and the forces of Snoy are out in full force on /v/, deleting and DMCA'ing images, but /v/ermin are still managing to have fun despite them.

Highly doubt this will impact the sales though, most of the braindead paypigs already have their pre-orders lined up and are blissfully ignorant of stuff like this.
Maybe. Remember, the Playstation Store refunded pre-orders for the game back in April when it was delayed for an unknown amount of time. That was right when all the covid restrictions in the US were hitting people really hard financially. A lot of people likely never re-preordered it, or - if they got it elsewhere - cancelled their pre-order at Gamestop or whatever because they needed the money for more pressing issues. So pre-orders are likely going to be down compared to what they could have been.

So, in The Last of Us Part 2, you kill a dog because the writers couldn't come up with a better way to make you feel glum, and there's also a horrible sex scene starring a woman who had her head grafted onto a muscular man's body.

I really hate every single thing about this game. Holy shit, just throw in a way to upvote every single thing every character says and add in Funko Pops as hidden collectables. They might as well, since this shit seems absolutely 110% tailor made for the absolute worst soyboys on the entire fucking planet.

There is not a single person who will enjoy this game whose ass I could not kick.

The amazing part about all this is that we still have no idea what Abby's plot arc is for the second half of the game. Do we fight the cult between the Ellie curbstomp and the hanging? Do we do something else with the WLF?

There could be a lot more leaks in the next 24 hours. I mean, I wasn't expecting what happened in the last four, that is for sure

Druckmann talks about how this game is so violent and horrible that you will feel uneasy and nauseated. Yet nothing I've seen of the game to this point made me feel like that.
But this made me feel legit uncomfortable and think "Oh, that's nasty. What the fuck? Why is this a part of the game?"

For years videogames have fought to be recognized as art. Many companies strive to give us beautiful graphics, vibrant colors, orchestral soundtrack that tugs at your heart strings and stories that are incredibly memorable wrapped in a fun game. The industry earned its right to be recognized as art ... And then Druckmann shows the public a scene of hardcore anal sex. I know this game will sell like crazy, but I really hope people can question the directoral route it took, because this is legitimately terrible. Bad writing, bad use of the IP and just shock scenes for the sake of cheap shock value.

Well, can't wait for the videos of YouTubers reacting to this scene.
